In a dystopian society where freedom is a distant memory, a low-ranking bureaucrat begins to question the oppressive regime he serves. As he delves deeper into the truth behind the government's propaganda, he discovers a hidden world of surveillance, manipulation, and thought control. Caught between loyalty to the state and his own conscience, he embarks on a dangerous journey to reclaim his individuality and defy the powers that seek to suppress it. Join us for a thought-provoking exploration of surveillance, censorship, and the fight for personal freedom in "1984". Prepare to be captivated by a world where truth is subjective and dissent is a dangerous act of rebellion.
Starring: Edmond O'Brien, Michael Redgrave, Jan Sterling
    Directed By: Michael Anderson

1984 is not sci fi. The book is set in 1948 in a London after the war. Big Brother is based on a series of posters advertising postal education courses. London was full of posters saying Let me be your big brother/ sister etc. Room 101 was at the BBC where Orwell worked.

A small indicator of Orwells purpose is suggested by the fact that he 'died' early aged 46. whilst he died from tuberculosis, I think it quite possible that thtat was accelerated by the police state via stress and other invisible mechanisms. In short, big brother knocked him off.

Banks are businesses, money is the product they trade on, as it has been for centuries, way before most current countries and technologies existed. They will not risk losing their capital on people who most likely won't be able to repay their loans or pay for their services. Also, they must be certain the money you put in them comes from legit sources and not from criminal activity.
If where you live there is a state/national bank, they usually have less entry barriers than private banks.
Also, be glad they made you a lot of questions. If they did not make any questions and had ways to know everything about your money, and also your personal life, *THEN* you will be in a Big Brother situation.

George Orwell completed his novel in 1948 and decided to use the title "1984" (48/84), which is a play on the year the book was written. The choice of 1984 was not intended to be an exact prediction, but rather a representation of a possible dystopian future. In addition to "1984," Orwell also penned "Animal Farm," a political allegory in which the famous quote "some animals are more equal than others" highlights the dangers of power inequality and corruption.

George Orwell, influenced by the looming threats of Nazi and Communist expansion during his time, wrote dystopian novels that served as cautionary tales of what could transpire in the future should the geopolitical climate continue on its trajectory. These works were Orwell's attempt at projecting possible outcomes in a world dominated by totalitarian regimes, particularly emphasizing the dangers of widespread surveillance and the erosion of individual liberties.

At 33:45, Julia says, "If you keep the big rules, it's safe to break the little ones". The novel has Julia saying, "If you keep the little rules, you can break the big ones." Orwell's Julia has it right. The big rule is not to form any relationships that the Party cannot control, the rule that Winston and Julia are clearly breaking.

You can only go back in time, when your back in time you can go to the future which is your present, but to the past it's the future to them , that's why we can't go no further than our present time, the future is being made in our present time , because of this time travel will never happen, to mess with the past could change who we are and our existence has we see it now ,which is our present

It is noteworthy that the three powers in the story are all run by the same global government that provides the illusion of three separate, oppositional powers constantly at war with each other.
With this in mind, one should note that not long ago Russia was a communist power. This was "Eurasia" in Blair's book, "1984", written in 1948. Then, after more than seventy years of iron-fisted, murderously despotic rule, the communists suddenly and inexplicably turned out the lights at their zenith of power and simply walked away. Just as suddenly they soon turned into a benign power of good, despite the fact that all the new leaders were, and are, in fact old, former, Soviet communist agents.
Today, America, "Oceania" in 1984, is the new bad guy on the global block. It is however ruled by the very same communist powers that ruled the Soviet Union. In this, one can see the very same transition of enemies depicted in Eric Blair's book. However, the change has been at a somewhat slower pace than what is depicted in the book, as this gives communist powers more time to acclimate minds of the masses to the transition. It is the frog slowly boiling in the pot scenario.
China, "East Asia" in 1984, is the third power that falls in the very same category as the other two, as it too was formed, and is yet administered, under communist rule.
In these examples it is quite clear the authors and founders of communism now form the overarching, global government that provides the illusion of three oppositional powers constantly on the brink of war with each other. As in Blair's book, this and other horrific illusions keep the minds of the masses focused on a constant state of fear, terrorizing them into submission.
It is noteworthy how the "anti-sex league" in the book is now in fact the "super-sex league" promoting every kind of sexual perversion imaginable. Yet the results are the same in preventing the procreation of the governed, "prole" races. Thus, the "anti-sex league" In Blair's book is in actuality today's multiform "anti-procreation leagues" now consuming the real world version of 1984. The inversion of a culture's morals, history and customs are standard tactics of the communist takeover.
I once found a reference that Eric Blair, aka "George Orwell", was at one time a member of England's Fabian Society. This makes sense as the Fabians, publicly represented by the author, George Bernard Shaw, worked to attract other authors who might work towards promoting their globalist agenda. It is noteworthy that Blair was a published author and committed socialist in the 1930s before he went to fight with the communists in Spain.
I surmise that at some point an upper level Rothschild agent addressed the core Fabians with the details of their plan for how they would rule the world. Eric Blair turned what he had heard at that meeting into his fictional book, 1984. Thus his book was a real plan published in a fictional format.
While this overarching global power itself cannot be identified directly, for some reason they are compelled to tell the truth. They usually do this in a fictional format or other forms so few, if any, will recognize as truthful admissions of their culpability. This is why Blair's book was allowed to be published and publicized, even in the cinematic format.

    • @andrewnelson3681

You may well be right. I have often thought that Orwell must have seen a plan of some sort. He was right about too many details for it to be a coincidence.
