The one failure of all the videos showing how to use one of these tire changes is that none of these guys explain Over the duck bill, under the tail, and under the duck bill and over the tail. That has always been the missing link in these videos. Thank you for your great explanation with clear videos.

Can you repair tire bead with a chipped piece about 3 x 7/16 " in size? I've replaced one tire today from the damaged wheel on a new one. During installation, at the very end, I saw a piece of the very edge of the tire to be partly torn and messed between the tire bead area and the rim. I took the needle nose pliers and pulled out that piece tearing it off the bead. It is like 3" long and 7/16 " wide. I set the bead, though 1st the area was coming out from the damaged part, and it took me longer, but eventually the tire gave a typical click and popped into the wheel bead area. The pressure is constant, but I'm afraid that under the load of the car it develops a leak. I think maybe it is better to break a bead and glue back the piece, which was removed w/tire glue? Or if something like that happens to the bead, it is better just to replace that tire? The tire is Micheline Defender 2 in a very good condition, I replaced them just 1 year ago and the tire itself if only 2 years old. I would appreciate any opinions on that matter. Thank you for the great film.

I bought one off E bay, same make and yes, a little pricey but it works phenomenal, I changed the tires on my fifth wheel and put 14 ply tires on, it makes changing a breeze.

    great video thx!!!
Just an observation... these demos are always done with high profile and soft sidewall tire (205/75- B15)
the trouble starts with van tires (the C's), reinforced motorbike tires (MitasEO7), combo's with inner tube (Harley rims with classic spokes), low profile car tires on alu rims (225/40-18 and larger) ...
But again, your video is very good despite these annoying types of tires!!!

If you can get it made and sold for 50 to 75 dollars a lot of us DIY'ers would jump on it. But at $230 plus shipping ,thats for somone in the tire changing buisness. But I doubt theyd be usuing a harbor freight or tractor supply tire remover to begin with. Nice concept tho

There's a family in Texas making these for around $115 shipped and they have outstanding feedback on ebay. I can certainly justify spending $115 for it but over $200, at least in my case, makes it kinda prohibitive.

Notice they don’t show a aluminum wheel,I used one on a aluminum wheel,& marked it all up breaking the bead,I hate taking my tires anywhere to be mounted because you always get cheated, but you have no choice if you don’t invest in the right tools,so I had one tire mounted, but couldn’t get it aired up because of the gap between the wheel & tire,so they charged me $30.00 to air one up & mount the other, guess I’ll have to buy a cheetah air blaster,to save money,it’s very hard to install tires with the bar that H/ F includes with tire machine, plus trying to use plastic on the ends to avoid making up the wheel.
