      I remember that one. Totally pissed me off when he did that, but we were totally butchered in that match.
      Sometimes i think had we brought someone like him before wenger’s last 5 years, we’d probably be better off since he’d get rid of all the deadwood at the time. Wenger was too soft at the end of his time.

      (Arsenal Fan) No, not really. He was a "dirty tactics at all costs" manager at Madrid, during that Barca rivalry. I used to respect this guy and what he brought to English football during his first stint, but lost all respect when he started acting like he was bigger than football, and his "Dark Arts" football came out......especially in Spain. Remember the touchline eye-gauging of a Barcelona second coach (then sneaking away and cowering like a little weasel)? Like Balague put it to him. "He didn't have to ruin the game and divide the country (Spain), to win football matches!". He knew Barcelona and Pep were far superior, so he had to resort to dirty tactics....including slandering Guardiola, in the media.

    Jose was jealous of Wenger cos he was qlway criticized for not playing "good football" and Arsenal was always a reference point. When he came in, Arsenal were invincible champions. The benchmark. He won the league and beat Arsenal many times but could never shake off that jealousy cos no matter how how well he did, Wenger's job at Arsenal was always more secure than his own. As good as he was, he always got fired when he failed to win cos his style of football is only tolerable if it comes with trophies. Otherwise you're gone.

    • @langletprolet8378
      @langletprolet8378 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Arsenal being “reference point” already dead after no progress since 2008. The true reference point will always be Sir Alex, and he didn’t need to play beautiful football to win all those leagues.
      Jose could’ve easily stayed at Chelsea for more years if the owner wasn’t Roman Abramovich, unlike the Arsenal owners. And he wasn’t fired at Inter. In Real Madrid, good football or not good football, you’re out if you don’t have the results so it wasn’t about his style.

You won't say the same if you saw Leverkusen in 10th place in Bundesliga because of individual mistakes and not cause of lack of tactics from xabi's side. Mourinho predicted it before he even came close to becoming a manager and ending a 11 yr old streak of Bayern winning the league

      @@DelusionalNYCI'm an arsenal fan I don't hate him.. We just didn't had a defender to contain Drogba, if we had a Keown or Campbell it would have been different.. But for him being rude Wenger throw hands at which was very satisfying😅...Wenger did it for arsenal while Mourinho managed for himself.. Both are great in their own rights
