Also they sound so similar to tornado sirens here in the US. Regardless of where you hear that sound, it means one thing: you have minutes, maybe seconds to take cover.
100% this. I used to live less than a mile from a tornado siren, but it was also one that had used a voice that announced the tornado warning/take cover/emergency alert. It went off all the time (yay living in the southern US). It felt SO dystopian, and air raid sirens give me that same awful gut-wrench feeling, but with added layer of historical dread

Winston turning out to not be a scary demon but just kinda being homesick and silly was the best surprise. By the end I was so fond of him I was happy he got to go home rather than happy to banish a demon. 10/10 would give Winston a hug and a head pat

Yes, to the question of people believing in ghost but not demons. Demons were introduced in Christianity, so you can believe in evil spirits but not necessarily the concept that we know of demons since again that was created as Christianity introduced angels and demons.
The opposite is also true. My friend's Catholic uncle doesn't believe in ghosts. They don't believe humans can remain as spirits so anything appearing as one is actually a demon.

It was Mr. Green, in the parlor! I like that this one has some clearer story to it as opposed to Ob Duty. Lots of these games are just. Location, find stuff, here ya go. Nothing on why the investigation is happening, why you're there, etc. aside from a tiny tidbit sometimes.

I’m only about halfway through the video, and I’m already so creeped out. There’s something so unsettling about the phenomena in this. I don’t normally get truly scared at horror games, but this is sort of freaking me out. Lol. I’m really enjoying the story, too. I think my only complaint, and it’s a very minor one, is that the title is really forgettable, and I think that might stop people from checking it out. Which is too bad, because unless something goes terribly wrong, this is a fantastic horror game. 👻 Edit: Okay, having finished it now, it wasn’t as strong in the second half as the first. And the story wasn’t as tight. Still, fun enough game.

Part of the fun of their last game was learning about/talking to the different ghosts and piecing together an overarching story. In this one it felt like they gave you the story too quickly compared to how much game was left after the reveal. It was good, but definitely still think their previous game was better in that regard.

TH-cam Gab content is especially a blessing rn🙏. My ISP is fixing a cable breakage as the only ISP here, causing a majority local outage for the last two weeks. As someone who believes in ghosts but not demons, I'd explain it as something like ghosts feel more... grounded in a way. I (personally) feel like there could very well be scientific reasons behind them, energy can't be created or destroyed, that sort of stuff. But demons are a pure magic/religious thing that can't really fit that idea. Granted my idea of ghosts is also much tamer than the stuff in this game, so it is a little wild that with what THEY see they still don't believe in demons at all lol

TH-cam Gab content is especially a blessing rn🙏. My ISP is fixing a cable breakage as the only ISP here, causing a majority local outage for the last two weeks. We have the bare minimum back up service to tide us over till it's fixed. I can **only** watch TH-cam to watch anything at all. Safe to say Gab has been keeping me cozy and sane through it lol💜 praise the goobus!

But I think every movie that has that stuff in it is awful, regardless of the victim’s gender. I just wish more people would call other movies terrible with that subject too. As someone who believes in ghosts but not demons, I'd explain it as something like ghosts feel more... grounded in a way. I (personally) feel like there could very well be scientific reasons behind them, energy can't be created or destroyed, that sort of stuff. But demons are a pure magic/religious thing that can't really fit that idea. Granted my idea of ghosts is also much tamer than the stuff in this game, so it is a little wild that with what THEY see they still don't believe in demons at all lol
My fav thing was the music playing was dueling banjos. Haha. 3 hour ghost hunting time! Food, blanket , and nothing to do today.
