Now 74 I have been single all my life so not having a significant other does not bother me. In old age friends and family have often moved away or died so it is best to embrace solitude and personal freedom to do as you please. Quite often people are living with a partner who makes them miserable. Getting old often means coping with chronic pain so I wouldn't blame anyone for requesting MAID. My biggest fear is losing my physical independence as I age into my 80s. It's like the 'Sword of Damocles' hanging over your head lol.

I’m already past that age group. 50-70 isn’t old. 70 plus is a great time to relax, travel , spend time with family and friends. If you think positive your life will be a lot better.
