Does anyone have thoughts on how or why there was such a dramatic shift in culture, morality and ideals from the windrush generation who grew up in the Carribbean and their children in the UK?

Yes, simple really, the UK was very racist and the odds were stacked against immigrants and migrant workers.
We were looked down upon and physically and emotionally abused!
PTSD ensued!
