As a 40 + year old son of Jamaican father and having spoke and listened to many a testimonial from many. The cycle of beatings and mistreatment from our parents is extremely damaging. My father is damaged to this day about what I consider child abuse he suffered and although he did not systemically beat me through my upbringing it manifested in other damaging ways. He has not been able to speak to other surviving family members about his experience which means he has so many unresolved psychological issues. For many black and mixed race children growing up in Britain through the 60's through to the 80's there were many a heavy burden to carry. Thanks Shaun & Marvin.
Amen, it was so hard watching him get upset as you could see the damage it caused and how quickly to turned to anger. It can manifest in not just in father son relationships but throughout the whole family’s relationships with aggression. Very sad.

I was onboard till he started saying the earth is flat 🙄🤦🏻♂️
It’s sad to hear him break up about his Dad. You can really feel his pain in this interview.
I love the grammer used by ma broski! "Cantankerous". I had to google that. For someone who didnt really school in his teenage years thats beautiful to hear!! Perfect example its never too late to do anything.
Brilliant interview mate you don't stop. Love and peace to everyone at this time ✌🙏🤝🇬🇧🤝🙏✌

Marvin I can identify with your story having spent 17 years of my life in prison for all sorts I'm like yourself a one man crime wave respect to you changing your life around I got out in 2017 and still continue to do well in society after all the system educated me lol living a clean life is key for me
You don't eat through an interview, bad manners, but I enjoy Marv's stories.
He ate like 2 times and that was for a few seconds
@@wjtgbio5218 hey I like Marv but just pointing out that it's not really the done thing, that's all.
@@martincroker490 I’d love to see you in person with marv and you tell him not to eat 🤣🤣
Marvin is a real wiseguy fantastic conversation
I love Marvin but let’s be honest his conspiracy theory stuff is waffle
Clearly the bullet must’ve hit the brain 😭 sean looked so uncomfortable
