I can solve a Rubik's cube after not even getting close to getting a WR, is that impressive too?
pretty sure he was just doing algorithms, you can tell by the repeated hand movements and resetting of the cube.
EDIT: I mean singular algs, I know you use algs to solve cubs since, I know what algs are, lol

idk whats more impressive, the years of knowledge the community has been able to accumulate about how to break this game to get the fastest win possible, or the ability to memorize all of that knowledge as a single person and apply that memory to muscle memory like this. ggs holy crap

Is the .18 difference between the previous WR and this bc the run is too optimized or it was just pure luck to get it so close?
i honestly feel like it's both. Can't Even and i had to play within about eight seconds of our sum of best segments to get WR. i also felt like i got lucky just because i happened to be playing slightly faster than i usually do near the end

Can you explain what’s going on most of the run where you are out of bounds next to the elevator? 3:56
for every map in that whole section, i'm basically just putting an orange portal under the ending elevator, putting a blue portal on the elevator shaft at the beginning, then timing an orange portal shot as i walk through the blue portal to get under the ending elevator and activate it. after that, i just set myself up to do the same thing for the next map until chamber 18. this is called "under elevator 3" btw
