One of my favorite things to do is getting wool/leather armor and flint/wood weapons, slapping on all the most op enchants in the game and just fighting bosses like that. Seriously funny without context.
please note there is lightweight 3 for weapons and for boots so its the same name but when you press SHIFT you see 2 different descriptions. becarefull of not mixing them! one is for trowing weapons (spartan weaponry mod VS rin's so many enchantments mod for boots)
Yeah, I also died once in the void because of evasion. Now I just usually hold off on entering the void until I get a ring of the fairies. If it's a speedrun though, I will just cross my fingers and hope for the best.
I personally like to use tide guardian armor for my legs and boots because defense isn’t as important there plus I don’t have to worry about drowning and I get that bonus damage when wet
So I have a question about protection levels. In vanilla minecraft, you can normally only benefit from protection enchantments up to 80%. Prot 4 on everything reached 64% damage reduction (4% per level). Is the cap of 80% damage reduction via enchantments still a thing in RLCraft? If so, I believe you only need Advanced Protection 4 (8% per level) on one piece of gear to reach the cap. If there is no cap, then you can actually just reach 100% protection from damage through purely advanced protection on everything. Also, in vanilla minecraft, there's obviously no way to surpass the 10 armor bars (20 armor). Each armor increment gives 4% damage reduction as well (total of 80%) However, in RLCraft, the masterful quality, if I remember correctly, gives +0.5 armor. Does this let you surpass the normal 20 armor bars are is it all redundant past the 20 armor bars? If it DOES let you surpass the cap, then with a baubles can you not technically reach 25 total armor increments, thus receiving 100% damage protection?
Armor works differently in RLCraft than vanilla, but I am not sure which mod changes it, or how things are changed exactly. However! I do know that each area of your body is a seperate area to be taken into consideration with damage calculation. If you have full advanced protection IV on your chest, pants, and boots, but you are wearing an unenchanted helmet and you get crit in the head by a blighted infernal skeleton, you can potentially get 1 shot. Armor protection is incredibly important on all armor pieces. Without protection on your pants or boots, your legs will get broken easily and then you will move slower or won't be able to jump much or even at all. You can't try to use logic to block 100% of damage in RLCraft with armor. What you can do is calculate resistances. You can put on things that increase your resistance like the shield of honor and the like, but with full protection armor, you will be defended rather well. Just remember though, there is no way to get complete damage mitigation as well in RLCraft, because some damage isn't calculated in terms of normal damage, instead it is calculated in set damage. An example is Amalgalich, which will always do nearly 50 hearts of damage per attack. Even with the best gear in the game, one can only cheese his damage with totems of undying, the broken heart bauble, and the invincibility pendent for example. You should keep your distance from that mob in this case. Also, no matter how much defense you get, you can't avoid void damage for example, because it is set to always do ticks of damage. RLCraft certainly gets very easy with maxed out gear, but if you don't put on maxed gear, you will get shredded by things easily, and you will never be immortal! I hope this information helps.

If you use the curse forge launcher, you need to go into your RLCraft profile by clicking on the rlcraft cover picture of the version you are playing, and then you need to click the 3 dots on the far top right of the page it takes you to. @@CasualtyYT I did this and also updated a bunch of other mods and now I'm getting error messages when trying to start the game, I was wondering if you know what versions the mods are supposed to be (not the game version, but the mod version specifically), specifically enhanced visuals and creative core
@@columbusross2955 I sadly do not know, as I do not update any mods besides the two I mentioned before. I have been told updating some mods cause compatibility issues, but I am not sure 100%. You can create a new world and see if everything is fine though, but if you can't load your old world, you can just copy over the save file into a new rlcraft download (you will have two copies of rlcraft added [and then you can delete the one that you messed up after copying the save over.])
@@CasualtyYT Thank you for responding, it is a compatibility issue between creative core and enhanced visuals (it could be more), and thanks for trying to help, your videos are super helpful and fun to watch and I hope you keep creating content.
I used to use a shield a lot, so I can think about it for sure! The best enchantments for the shield though are natural blocking III and empowered defense IV! You can also put on knockback II if you so please! The spartan shields make you slower when you block as well and the shields have less durability, but you can put on some more OP enchantments that may or may not actually work. I can do some testing! The testing I did in the past though told me that spartan shields are not worth it, and then damage testing later told me just to pur a reinforced sharpness V and subject mathamatics axe in my offhand, so I stopped using a shield. I can look into it again though!
Dragon chestplate, and tide guardian everything else basically! If you update the mods "ice and fire: dragons" and "spartan fire" than you would want a dragon chestplate, a dragon helmet, dragon boots, and tide guardian pants for the water breathing if you need it! In standard rlcraft though, I would say tide guardian overall offers a bit more protection, but if you update those two mods, than dragon offers much more protection than tide guardian (if you were in a position to choose one set that is, it is best to use some pieces from either set depending on which has more protection and armor toughness, protection being considerably better than toughness though)
@@lrzvldz776 you didn’t know you could use obsidian? 😅 I was first like that, someone told me I had to use nether stars. Got full masterful under 32 obsidian 😤
I think the armor and weapons are wonderfully designed, but I believe they are a bit too powerful, and while the dragons are much stronger and dangerous in the early game, they become quite laughable in the end game (they become easy to kill). The hydras, and other misc weapons and items added are interesting, but not too game changing. The thing I like the most is probably the hydras, they actually feel like dangerous mini bosses that can be a pain to kill unless you have a God tier weapon
Both dragonsteel armor types are just as good as the other, it comes down completely to preference of appearence or what you have available to you (both armor sets protect against dragon breath attacks regardless of dragon type)

The offhand weapon enchantments stack for your main hand weapons damage! If your axe has damage enchantments like reinforced sharpness V and subject mathamatics IV, your mainhand weapon gets those enchantments as well, as long as the axe is in your off hand! It is just for more damage
@@butterypigeons1089 The enchantments only stack if the enchantments are different! So, like if you run double rapier, you could run one rapier with half of the enchants, and the other rapier with the other half of the enchants! But like, if both rapiers have supreme sharpness V, than the enchantments don't stack to supreme sharpness 10, it just stays supreme sharpness V! But like, reinforced sharpness is different than all the other sharpness, since it is intended for tools! Subject mathamatics is also a great other subject enchant that stacks! @@butterypigeons1089 I would say ice dragonsteel still, but I personally use fire dragonsteel because it is easier, and since you will normally one shot everything, the slowing effect the ice weapon gives isn't much of a big deal! Either one works great, but I would say that technically the ice one can be more useful because of the slowing effect
The general trend for the difference between advanced and normal enchantments, is like, feather falling IV, is about as good as advanced feather falling 2.5! So feather falling IV, is better than advanced feather falling II, but not as good as feather falling III! It is a little different than that, but you can use that as a measure!
That works fine for early and mid game, but the biggest problems for a player later on is not skeletons, but rather blighted enemies, so you would prefer normal protection on your gear against those
Yeah, you will just need to combine books together for higher tiers etc, I would say looking for librarians who sell the enchants is potentially better though
th-cam.com/video/U0QqJoSBvFU/w-d-xo.html put all the same enchantments I used in this video on your dragonsteel weapon for the hardest hitting weapon in the game for pve! Use a dragonsteel rapier!
@@NotTyreg Yeah the dragonsteel halberd does more damage, but since it is a two handed weapon, sometimes the enchantment arc slash doesn't work, and also arc slash only works on full swings as well, and halberds have a bit slower attack speed, so you can't just spam click for infinite arc slash procs! The halberd does more damage for 1 shot potential though, but I still would say the rapier is a stronger weapon overall, as the difference between like 500 damage and 600 damage isn't a big deal, but infinitely destroying mobs with aoes when in dungeons is super amazing and puts rapiers in a good spot since its attack speed is so fast
Ok, so I tried making the chest armor this way and for some reason it acts like SV V and Adv Prot are mutually exclusive. I know I've had armor in the past with regular Prot IV on it with SV V. Why doesn't it work?
th-cam.com/video/U0QqJoSBvFU/w-d-xo.html The enchantments on that weapon are almost the same as this weapon! I think the weapon I use in this video has envenomed III and Viper IV instead though, I can't remember if I found Viper V or not
Not sure I'd want evasion. If i'm on the edge of a cliff or on top of a tall tower and it makes me jump, I might fall to my death. Or if I'm fighting in the End and jump into the void.
You need to update the mods ice and fire dragons and spartan and fire! If you are using the curse forge launcher, than you can simple click the arrow next to those two mods in the file section of your rlcraft's profile and it will update quickly (which is the easiest way) or if you use tlauncher than you need to replace the mods manually in your files after downloading them from the curseforge website. In this video you can see me clicking the arrow on the old twitch launcher, and it works nearly the exact same way on the new curse forge launcher th-cam.com/video/-KGaxnQLwjo/w-d-xo.html
rlcraft's more recent update downgraded Ice and Fire (the mod that adds dragonsteel armor) because of balancing reasons, youll have to manually update the mod
Advanced enchantment books are just rarer and stronger versions of normal enchantment books! Structures and dungeons can have them to be looted, rare and higher grade mobs can drop them, and librarians can sell them!
Sometimes the book is sold by librarian villagers if you are lucky! If you are not lucky though, you can get strengthened vitality I or strengthened vitality II from the enchantment table on a chest piece or book, and you can combine those books all the way up to strengthened vitality V! It is a grind, but it is a very strong enchantment!

The option will be right next to the little garbage can and the slider to enable or disable the mod. After clicking that arrow you are done, it is that simple! I always have just updated "ice and fire: dragons," and "spartan and fire" though as I do not know the affects of updating some of the other mods. I hope this helps!
How do you update to the newer version I don’t know how
Wait what version of minecraft is that? 1.16?i thought rlcraft goes only up to 1.12
Can you do a video on all the best shield enchants?
I used to use a shield a lot, so I can think about it for sure! The best enchantments for the shield though are natural blocking III and empowered defense IV! You can also put on knockback II if you so please! The spartan shields make you slower when you block as well and the shields have less durability, but you can put on some more OP enchantments that may or may not actually work. I can do some testing! The testing I did in the past though told me that spartan shields are not worth it, and then damage testing later told me just to pur a reinforced sharpness V and subject mathamatics axe in my offhand, so I stopped using a shield. I can look into it again though!
Helmet 0:50
Chestplate. 0:52
Leggings. 0:57
Boots. 1:01 The Rin's lightweight, not the spartan one.

Your welcome
Bruh
I'm new but is dragon scale or tide guardian better?
This is why I don't use golem armor: number 1 the pose for the armor stand number 2, it's impossible to get masterful on it

Got full masterful under 32 obsidian 😤
how do you like update to dragon steal armor and dragon steal tools
I think the armor and weapons are wonderfully designed, but I believe they are a bit too powerful, and while the dragons are much stronger and dangerous in the early game, they become quite laughable in the end game (they become easy to kill). The hydras, and other misc weapons and items added are interesting, but not too game changing. The thing I like the most is probably the hydras, they actually feel like dangerous mini bosses that can be a pain to kill unless you have a God tier weapon
Is the Ice Dragonsteel Armor the best kind?
Both dragonsteel armor types are just as good as the other, it comes down completely to preference of appearence or what you have available to you (both armor sets protect against dragon breath attacks regardless of dragon type)
@@CasualtyYT Alright, thank you for telling me.
How do you update the mods you mentioned
If you use the curse forge launcher, you need to go into your RLCraft profile by clicking on the rlcraft cover picture of the version you are playing, and then you need to click the 3 dots on the far top right of the page it takes you to. Click on "profile options" from the drop down menu and check the box named "allow content management for this profile" and click done at the bottom. Next, go to the installed mods tab next to your overview tab and scroll down. You will see all of the mods you have installed with the modpack and you can choose which ones you want to update from there by clicking the little arrow to the right of the mod. I always have just updated "ice and fire: dragons," and "spartan and fire" though as I do not know the affects of updating some of the other mods. I hope this helps!
Wait ice Dragonsteel is better or is it the same as fire dragonsteel?
They are both the same in terms of strength! The fire dragonsteel one just protects more against ice dragon breath, and the ice one just protects more against fire dragon breath attacks, that is the only difference!
Which lightweight the Rin one or the spartan one.
Um... one is for a weapon, one is for armor. Should be easy to tell.
may i ask what your weapons are here?
Dragonsteel weapons, but with the same enchantments from my strongest rlcraft melee weapon video
God armor is easy when you have an xaphan xp farm

Can u explain how u got the three glowing armor in ur bar while mine is only 1 even tho i have ur exact same armor
That is from my baubles! If you get resistance on your baubles, you will get some red above a few bars, and the shiny blue comes from armor toughness!
@@CasualtyYT bruh im playing rlcraft for a year and havent known about this
@@CasualtyYT how did u get 5 max hearts when i tried in my testing world i always got 4
@@Velionorz0 The hearts strengthened vitality give depend on your max hearts, so if you have higher base hearts from baubles and the like, you will get a bit more hearts from strengthened vitality
Is the glowing armor mean anything?
What version of rlcraft do I need for the dragon steal in the ice and fire mod ?
Just look up "how to update ice and fire in rlcraft.
Why do u have the axe in the opposite hand?what’s that for for yeh and is it end game strat
The offhand weapon enchantments stack for your main hand weapons damage! If your axe has damage enchantments like reinforced sharpness V and subject mathamatics IV, your mainhand weapon gets those enchantments as well, as long as the axe is in your off hand! It is just for more damage
@@CasualtyYT daammmnn epic man,ur favorite axe to use?or why not double rapier
@@butterypigeons1089 The enchantments only stack if the enchantments are different! So, like if you run double rapier, you could run one rapier with half of the enchants, and the other rapier with the other half of the enchants! But like, if both rapiers have supreme sharpness V, than the enchantments don't stack to supreme sharpness 10, it just stays supreme sharpness V! But like, reinforced sharpness is different than all the other sharpness, since it is intended for tools! Subject mathamatics is also a great other subject enchant that stacks! You could have subject mathamatics on an offhand rapier though, but reinforced sharpness is only for tools!
@@CasualtyYT makes sense man!thanks a lot for the info!also sucks of know halbert ain’t max Kung anymore but still great to know thanks, also Ice dragon steel or fire?love ur vids btw
@@butterypigeons1089 I would say ice dragonsteel still, but I personally use fire dragonsteel because it is easier, and since you will normally one shot everything, the slowing effect the ice weapon gives isn't much of a big deal! Either one works great, but I would say that technically the ice one can be more useful because of the slowing effect
what version of rlcraft has ice dragonsteel armor?
The latest version of rlcraft; however, you also need to update the two mods "ice and fire: dragons" and "spartan and fire"
is feather falling four better or worse than advanced feather falling 1? Can someone explain these different levels to me?
The general trend for the difference between advanced and normal enchantments, is like, feather falling IV, is about as good as advanced feather falling 2.5! So feather falling IV, is better than advanced feather falling II, but not as good as feather falling III! It is a little different than that, but you can use that as a measure!
@@CasualtyYT Thanks so much!
how to get the books?
what about projectile protection on helm?
That works fine for early and mid game, but the biggest problems for a player later on is not skeletons, but rather blighted enemies, so you would prefer normal protection on your gear against those
Can you get these enchantments from enchantment tables?
Yeah, you will just need to combine books together for higher tiers etc, I would say looking for librarians who sell the enchants is potentially better though
can you do a video about dragonsteel weapons enchantments?
th-cam.com/video/U0QqJoSBvFU/w-d-xo.html put all the same enchantments I used in this video on your dragonsteel weapon for the hardest hitting weapon in the game for pve! Use a dragonsteel rapier!
@@CasualtyYT isnt the dragonsteel halberd more damaging?
How do I update my RlCraft
You download he new versions of Spartan and fire and ice and fire and then replace the old versions in the mods folder
Ok, so I tried making the chest armor this way and for some reason it acts like SV V and Adv Prot are mutually exclusive. I know I've had armor in the past with regular Prot IV on it with SV V. Why doesn't it work?
The enchantments stack 100%, it may be a bug, that sure is strange though. I hope you can figure out what is up
@@CasualtyYT Thanks, I do to! It's very weird.
@@CasualtyYT I figured it out, I had updated SoManyEnchantments and apparently, that is not such a great idea for those particular enchants lol!
What enchants are on that sword that does 101 damage to the trolls?
th-cam.com/video/U0QqJoSBvFU/w-d-xo.html The enchantments on that weapon are almost the same as this weapon! I think the weapon I use in this video has envenomed III and Viper IV instead though, I can't remember if I found Viper V or not
what, dragonsteel in RLCraft?
Not sure I'd want evasion. If i'm on the edge of a cliff or on top of a tall tower and it makes me jump, I might fall to my death. Or if I'm fighting in the End and jump into the void.
Yeah, evasion is an optional one, that mainly benefits a player who prefers ranged combat such as using the old summoning staff strats or a bow etc
how to you get the ice dragonsteel armor i dont have it
You need to update the mods ice and fire dragons and spartan and fire! If you are using the curse forge launcher, than you can simple click the arrow next to those two mods in the file section of your rlcraft's profile and it will update quickly (which is the easiest way) or if you use tlauncher than you need to replace the mods manually in your files after downloading them from the curseforge website. In this video you can see me clicking the arrow on the old twitch launcher, and it works nearly the exact same way on the new curse forge launcher th-cam.com/video/-KGaxnQLwjo/w-d-xo.html

how can i get advance enchanted book? thanks for respones
Advanced enchantment books are just rarer and stronger versions of normal enchantment books! Structures and dungeons can have them to be looted, rare and higher grade mobs can drop them, and librarians can sell them!
BRO IM SET FOR ANY BOSS
Advanced mending you say... how the heck did you manage to grab that for all your gear??
Librarians
I found a villager selling advanced mending V is it bugged or legit?
it is legit, but it will turn into normal advanced mending when you place it on an item
Where do I get strengthened vitality ive only found it 5 times but not top tiers of it
Sometimes the book is sold by librarian villagers if you are lucky! If you are not lucky though, you can get strengthened vitality I or strengthened vitality II from the enchantment table on a chest piece or book, and you can combine those books all the way up to strengthened vitality V! It is a grind, but it is a very strong enchantment!
Casualty i got it 4 times from enchanting table only lvl 1 though but its always stacked underneath other enchantments so i cant disenchant it from chestplates
@@davidjite999 Yeah, RLCraft is a crazy grind, I would try to find librarian villagers and level those up, it will probably be faster, I know how long it takes via the enchantment table. @@CasualtyYT How do you run a server with those updated mods? My friend and I play RLCRAFT on aternos, but it does not let us update the mods in it. Do you have anything you recommend or a server that isn't expensive that would allow us to update the mods?
@@bradleybarker3776 Servers are sadly very expensive. I only on bisect hosting the staff are cool and would help you with a custom server that would have the updated mods, but I am sure it will still be very expensive. Multiplayer rlcraft is pretty tough to get set up right, for cheap, and with everything running lag free. Your best bet would be getting a strong server (which probably is expensive no matter where you look for one) and then just picking and choosing the few mods you want. Including everything rlcraft has would make your server lag a lot unless it has massive amounts of ram. I am sorry I couldn't help more
Whats the difference between mending and advanced mending? Does it use less experience or something?
It just repairs your armor more with less experience, so it is indeed just all around better! Mending still works perfectly fine though! The amount of xp advanced mending saves you is not significant enough to worry too much, but it is indeed a step ahead of mending
Why golem armor but not the chest?
The chest has very low base protection, and the armor toughness does not make up for that weakness
How do you get the enchantment books you used in the video?
Librarian villagers and dungeon loot

Check the search bar on the right side of your screen rather than the creative menu. The search bar is a lot better. Click the little wrench at the bottom right of the search bar in game and change the top option to true (only works in creative mode or with cheats enabled). Now you will be able to click and drag enchantments into your inventory from the search box
