I dont understand how people can dislike him?! He brings an energy like nobody else playing. He engages with fans, he’s out there on TH-cam making content and growing the sport. He does everything 90% if pros don’t do. All that and he smashed he ball, is a scientist around the greens. He great for the game and the pga sure misses him

But he’s clearly opened up a bit as a person too over the past couple years… and doing so is clearly helping his golf game. Never seen him hovering around the leaderboard so frequently in the past as he has last year and this year. Good on him.
I used to dislike him so much. But using his new platform he has really been able to show himself properly and I now regret ever thinking that he was just a cocky know it all. He actually really does know a hell of a lot about the mechanics of the golf swing. Moreover, he has been LIVs golf unexpected MVP when in majors. Today, Bryson is the most sought after , most watched, most entertaining golfer . Hope he wins because everything he is doing deserves to bring him success!

Its very obvious that data is what makes him comfortable over the ball, so why wouldn't he consider every variable he can? I think its hilarious for a high handicap youtube commenter to believe he knows more than a guy who would beat him over 18, left handed, with a single club.

They didn't leave. They had valid tour cards that were earned following the criteria set by the PGA and were willing to continue playing on the tour. The PGA tour changed the criteria to prohibit them from playing i.e. the tour banned them from playing.

Tiger Woods was an innovator as well in his day. Changing to a multi-piece golf ball before anyone else. Those with higher swing speed can benefit from nonstandard pro equipment, but it takes courage to do it.

I've been been playing Cobra's f7 one length since thay came out. Watching the U.S. Open yesterday, one of the commentators said the reason Bryson can hit his wedges so far is because they have longer shafts and stronger lofts. What crap ! Let that announcer hit Bryson's wedges and see how far he hits them. Another player preparing for a fairway shot, "he better get his right shoulder lower so they're even with the hill". The player was on level ground with the slope rising to his left starting about 8-10 feet in front of him toward the target. He wasn't standing on the "hill". Just bitchin'.
A lot of haters out there, but know this. When Bryson said "185-187 yards" he is talking about less than 1% discrepancy for what is a long iron for most of us. Hell, most of us couldn't hit 10 shots with a long iron and be within 5% discrepancy with at least 3 out of 10 shots.
