How are you disinfecting your chicken houses? Big breaders here use steam rather than chemicals. With your watering station, consider making version number 2 mobile with wheels (less termite damage) that can be dragged along your water lines and hooked up at different points. Like how yours is big enough to give rain and hail protection. In Mexico, chickens are free ranged under the corn. This way they are protected from hawks. They help themselves to the weeds and keep other grasses at a lower height. I have paper in the brooder only near the feeders because they need sawdust to keep warm at night. It's much colder here. I remove the paper from the brooder after day four.

@Let’sGrow AndProsper I am originally from the Caribbean. The last few years I've been thinking of moving to Africa..I settled on Tanzania two years ago and gave myself two years to do it. I got ride of my car in order to save money. No car payment nor insurance payment. I cut my hair myself. No new clothes, no eating out..you get me? The lockdown due to covid has helped a lot. Cutting back hasn't been easy but I know my goal and what I must do to achieve it. I have a great life here but I no longer wish to live here. My ancestors have called, I must answer

This is a great conversation for your crop areas...th-cam.com/video/e1B5EHSmtCY/w-d-xo.html. You can make a Johnson Su bioreactor or a modified Diego Footer Donut design with the chicken brooder woodchIps when you want to clean out the brooder. After a year you then have a fantastic material for inoculating the seeds. We have lots of ants because this is drylands... ants particularly move just before rain .. they like to move into somewhere dry. One can change their paths by providing maggots in a desired direction. Spraying vinegar will confuse their sensing trails. If you apply poison, try and do it around the nest exit holes. Pouring down bicarbonate water down the nest will affect their fungal farms under the ground. This is part of their food. Reducing the fungal farms will reduce the ant population. In general, I leave my ant nests alone, except the ones that move into our house block walls because disturbing them makes them move and I end up with more problematic nests.

Avoid free ranging the chickens on all your land at once... Seoerate the areas and allow them to move into the different sections otherwise they choose what they eat and will destroy all the grass.... Move them around into different sections of land to let the grass recuperate, so you have continuously growing grass.
