And the vaccination. Based on their ages. What types of types of indigenous chickens breeds is better and diseases resistant.i would like to know all of that.

I want this man to be successful! What most people don't know is the United States ships its "less than acceptable" chicken parts into African countries by tying it to aid packages. Aka if you don't take our chicken pieces, we won't give you this aid package! What this does is price small African chicken farms out of their own market because it becomes CHEAPER to import the US crap, than to grow their own! The US has done this to other countries too. With Germany, they refused to accept US chicken so the US put what is effectively a chicken tax on their imports. Germany started having to pay more to export things like automobiles into the US. To get around this, Germany started shipping the parts into the US, bought several US companies and started assembling items in the US. The Dodge Sprinter van was the result of one of these efforts by a German company. The US bullies smaller nations into accepting frozen chicken parts. I hope this guy does VERY well so he can help his country eliminate its dependence on US chicken. I think what the US is doing is absolutely wrong!
Dr, I have a question. You said a commercial layers farm shouldn't be anything less than 500 birds. My question is, why does this number matter? Every chicken, in essence should eventually pay for itself to break even. So if i assume an egg is 1% of the cost of raising a layer (cost of the layer + feeding), then each layer should lay 100 eggs to break even. If i have 50 birds and they each lay 100 eggs, won't I be in profit? I know there are things to account for such as mortality and farm maintenance but in my opinion, those can be taken as fixed costs. What am I missing?
