At this point the Doctor should probably just stop entering random toy shops, I'm half surprised that the shop he worked at in Closing Time didn't end up being part of the Toymaker's Domain
Oh, but of course he did stop entering those kinds of places. Why’d you think we barely ever see the Toymaker on the Doctor’s main travels outside of those two occasions we all know?!
There was that one line in the giggle where the toymaker says he’s made a jigsaw out of the doctors history, which is a line to hand wave explaining all the inconsistencies & contradictions throughout the franchise’s history, so all of the adventures in the expanded media could’ve happened & this hasn’t been a waste of time
This is absolutely true, I very much appreciate you pointing it out, and now I wish the TARDIS was real so I could go back in time and say this at the end of the video
@@CAMiStH The doctor's inconsistent timeline has been explained again and again With the whole time is in flux Stop or the book unatural history We don't need more explanations
Oh, I see! I honestly thought you were talking about the video itself and my coverage of the Toymaker I won’t lie haha. I agree, I think we don’t need any more explanations for inconsistency in the Doctor’s life after The Giggle, that and other stories have explained things quite well :)
honestly im not too bothered with Russel completely fucking ignoring every other appearance the toymaker has had since his original one because the show's always had a loose mentality when it comes to the wider expanded media and canon in general. Like in that very same episode Mel makes reference to events that happened in some big finish audios. Its always kinda done the lupin the 3rd and scooby doo thing where most stuff is self contained, but if the writer wants to use an idea from something or make reference to it then it suddenly matters now lmao.
Absolutely agree, RTD ignoring expanded media unless absolutely necessary is fine with me as it saves me having to read a load of stuff to understand what’s going on lol. I just really like making a running gag of saying ‘here’s all this information that never gets brought up in the show itself, have fun with that lmao’
U mean like the fact that the Great Blue Yonder basically just was a callback to one line back to Army of Ghosts? Yeah... I didnt miss the fact that the 10th Doctor said that the "void" is nothingness and that others just call it hell. And then he pulled out that "Vampires, Demons and Ghost have to count each grain in order to cross." line or something like that...
I have found a British TH-camr who talks about both Sonic The Hedgehog and Doctor Who!
I have never had more of a reason to immediately subscribe!
Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it! :)

film theory: was craig the toymaker all along???

Explaining something that's already been explained
And explained better
What do you mean?

And here I thought he was just a Superman villain!
Nah, Doctor Who’s Toymaker is infinitely better than DC’s haha
It's sylvester stallone in spy kids 3.
