I too enjoy filming at night. It’s just annoying when they turn on the exterior flood lights and scream at me as my face is pressed up against the window…..
At 8:23 it looks pretty cool how the silhouettes of the people walking through the tunnel of lights are solid black. The density of the lights there gives them definition. Very interesting. Thanks for experimenting and Merry Christmas!
Thanks, Steven and Merry Christmas to you as well! You know, the more I look at the footage, the more I don't mind the darkness. There is no detail in the blacks, but I kind of like the mystique of it all.

Hi Mike - merry Christmas! I know that technically the night time stuff isn’t happening but it works artistically - the light on the water and colours appearing out of nowhere just looks great!

I love to shoot ektachrome at night with my canon 310xl. Normally I like to shoot Ektachrome ds8 7294 pushed 2 stops to iso 400. Results are amazing. I don't like negative film and digital scanning that much. The fun is projecting my films.
