Back to ‪@richardholdener1727‬ and his Omni GLH(S) (CFX01) build - we replace the flywheel, clutch, pressure-plate, throwout bearing, shifter cables, cable bushings, remove, paint and reinstall the k-member and a-arms, finish the electrical and reassemble the interior. No big deal.

I have a 555 in my Omni and ran the cables just like you did. It is a bit tight on the bends. I will look at moving the hole back to make the bends a little easier. Wish I could find what I did with my stock center console. I know it's in a box somewhere. Great video!

We didn't choose to run the cables that way - that's the way they were when Richard bought the car. They could be better, but they work.

Damn... I'm in the middle of a clutch change on my 1985 LeBaron with a 2.5 turbo and an A555... looks like the trans removal is reaaaaally easy with the K-member dropped! I'm putting in a 4 puck clutch as my organic disc is just fried...

You still would benefit from lowering the engine (removing front mount). I think lowering the engine is more important than scooting around the k-member, personally.

Hey do you guys post any of these videos on the turbododge or turbo-mopar forums? I think your content would be really popular!

The shift cables looked like they had new rubber boots. If so, where did you get them? I found the Mercury boat boots work well, but would rather have had yours.

      That's just how they were - I didn't clean them. They're stockers.
