This sense of inspiration turned to frustration when Kibaki stole the election, but that still does not make him the primary cause of the violence. The causes run much deeper in Kenya's history. Obama does not care about losing Kenya.The man has not went there one time since he has been President.I don't know why Kenyans feel that they mean so much to Obama.As far as Africa is concerned I doubt if he is loosing any sleep at night worrying about it.Of all the places in the world Obama is worried about I would bet money Africa is last on the list.

You are woefully uninformed. I was in Kenya shortly before the election. Odinga inspired people. This sense of inspiration turned to frustration when Kibaki stole the election, but that still does not make him the primary cause of the violence. The causes run much deeper in Kenya's history.
Meanwhile, even people I knew who were afraid of Odinga before the election now say that the coalition government with him and Kibaki is working well.
