From a child it was my favourite cop show it still is to this day even though it was over 30 odd years ago since I last saw an episode. It’s simply the best of ALL times including the future. Can’t touch this.😍
Bottom line: rich or poor; black, white, Asian, Brown; man or woman, rich or poor; pretty or average looking; fit or fat, celebrity or not; we are all gonna die one day.
I moved to Hawaii with my family the same year Five-O came on the air (I was 9). We used to see them filming fairly often. They were often interrupted by people yelling “book ‘em Danno!” 😀 Jack Lord loved Hawaii and lived in Kahala until his death. He left his money to local charities and I really respect him for that. The second series was okay but can’t hold a candle to the original.
I've been watching reruns of Hawaii 5-0 on Freevee TV. The quality of the film is very good, and it's hard to believe I'm watching a show that is 55 years old (when the show debuted in the fall of 1968) -- it looks very contemporary. I was 20-years-old when the show debuted, and it's somewhat mind blowing to know that all of the cast are dead as are most of the guest stars. Most of the younger guest stars still alive are in their 80s. I see some bikini clad young girl in the show and now realize she's probably in her late 70s, early 80s now -- if in fact she's still living. In any event, Hawaii 5-0 was one of my favorite TV shows back in the day -- and I totally enjoy watching reruns of it.
My wife from time to time still utter the immortal words, "book em Danno". Great TV series and iconic in so many ways. RIP to all but a very few of the cast.
I was born the year before the series originally aired in 1968. So it's hard for me to remember any of my youngest years without seeing Hawaii Five-O on television. I firmly believe that one of the strengths of this series was the on-screen chemistry of the cast. I feel the same way about 'The Streets of San Francisco', 'Kojak', 'The Rockford Files', and 'Barnaby Jones' which were also among the best police drama series of the 1970s.
The role of Danny Williams almost went to gun smoke's Buck Taylor, I'm glad things worked out the way they did I couldn't imagine anyone else doing either role.
Love Hawaii Five O '68. Fantastic characters, many future stars as guests, however each episode seemed to end so abruptly, no epilogue. Can't believe Jack Lord was 48 to begin and it appears he did many of his own stunts! Kudos!👍
Please remove that MISLEADING PHOTO of an elderly man on your intro. That IS NOT Jack Lord. You don’t even mention anything regarding the photo in your video. To plaster a random photo just for attention is wrong. It is shameful that you post misleading information on your channel.

Funny how all the cop series of the 70s featured actors either in their 40s or 50s: Kojak, Canon, Rockford files, streets of San Francisco etc. now they’re usually 10-30 years younger. We regret to inform you: everyone dies, leaving us deeply saddened
I always wondered if anyone told Steve McGarrett to do some real police work for a change when he said, "Book him, Danno!" And said, "Why don't you book him yourself, we're fed up with doing the boring paperwork!"
Best TV Series EVER! I was blessed to be in this generation that enjoyed this Series from the start!
I grew up watching the original HAWAII FIVE-0 and it was awesome!!!!! I loved the intro music!
Would love to see the old Hawaii Five O back on TV

I can remember growing up watching this show It's so sad everybody's gone.
I watch this great show every weekday afternoon at 4 and it never gets old.
We had a lot of great TV shows to watch, growing up during the 1960s! This was one of them!!

Jack Lord was so handsome i loved watching him on the show
What an excellent video. I grew up in the U.K. watching Hawaii 5 O in the 1970s. I remember all these very fine characters.

I had an autograph from Danny ( James MacArthur) when they were in Singapore.

Kono was great. He elevated the whole show.
Life is short, so let’s pray to Almighty God!
Hawaii Five 0 was my favorite Movie 🎥 Jack Lord , Danny and all the others. There could never catch Wo Fat 🐺.
Darn that Wo Fat
They actually did catch Wo in the series finale and put him in prison. As I recall, they hinted at the end that he had some kind of escape plan 😉🤙
Yes, he had a file in his shoe.
