I’m a huge pageant fan. And I’m Canadian and have been waiting for you to make this video. Very well said!!! I am really saddened by everything that has unfolded since Nova. And then hearing what Sierra went through during her reign. I had so hoped that change would have come to the Canadian organization. So unfair and difficult for the Canadian women who want to represent our country well. Thank you for a very thoughtful and well said video. I hope it reaches the Canadian organization and gives them a wake up call.

I don't have any problem with that, but they are treating your Canadian reps like how they treat latinas joining beauty pageants, like they could demand anything and the candidate should just follow. I adore you. I could sit here all day just watching you talk. I have Mikimoto and Diamond Nexus replicas but I don’t wear them just anytime. The only time I wear any of them with the Miss Universe sash is during the annual coronation where I record my reaction to the announcement of winner.

Oh this video was SO worth staying up late for! It's after 1AM in the Central Time Zone but I got the notification about the new video and HAD to watch! Totally inappropriate putting a replica crown. The thing is there is a lot of ethical reasons behind it. Again its not just about the crown but rather its about a principle of which the crown supposedly represents.

The CEO and wedding gown analogies are on point. It baffles me how any national organization would actually think this behavior is okay. And for anyone who still says it's just a crown, you're clearly not the audience this video is for.
I remember when Siera exposed this issue to a wider audience first, and she unfortunately continues to be proven right by this dumpster fire of an org. By all means, if they wanna crash and burn, then hell, let them, but the fact that their queens are gonna be collateral damage is just really sad and unfair.

Canada should make a crown with a maple leaf motif, i know its cliche’ but its better than copying a well known crown. A maple leaf crown with white diamonds and red crystals just go for it. Hell, put a pair of bedazzled moose antlers on there too. Just make it DIFFERENT. Jeez 🙄

Simply what the organization should do : ask a jewelry business to sponsor a tiara, or go to social media to make it as a "design competition"..
Indonesian Puteris, miss grand and miss world all of them wear custom tiaras made of real gems, diamonds and gold (with Miss Grand Indonesia's tiara being the most expensive, cost $250K) and all of them were given by sponsors to the organizations...

With everything that has been going on with that organization recently, it seems like they are deliberate in their actions. I think the international pageants need to put penalties in place for local country organizations who disrespect the international organizations.
