      I am from Jamaica, and despite the fanfare I doubted our girl would make it !!!! I HAVE LISTENED TO MISS JAMAICA SPEAK, and I did not see her surviving the tough judges questions during preliminaries, judges wanted more than just swimsuit and evening wear and iconic look !!!***HOWEVER MY EYES WERE ALWAYS ON MISS TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO and knowing her from MISS WORLD 2019 when she was winning all the head to head challenges based on Questions and answers, there was absolutely no subject that you can question her about and she doesn't know exactly what to say !!!!MISS HAITI studied the Classics and then law, actually like MISS LAOS were amongst the brightest on their university courses and must have demonstrated to the judges just how exceptionally bright they were during the preliminary closed door interviews !!!

    I'm a Filipino and you're my favorite pageantry expert! I've always trusted your constructive criticisms. I hate how some Filipinos rally behind Celeste just because "she looks like a goddess". A Miss Universe also needs a strong advocacy and from the very beginning, Celeste didn't have that. As you said, R'Bonney and Andrea Meza were already walking the talk before they even got crowned. And I don't like how other pageant "experts" here on youtube just pander to the Filipino audience for views and subscribers.

    This year's Top 16 put emphasis on advocacy of the candidates. They are diverse and champion different causes that they believe in. Also, these are well spoken candidates, established, and accomplished women. I am sad that Miss Philippines did not place, but I did understand that this is the new era and we must create changes to adapt to the new framework of a Miss Universe. Love you always Queen
    (Also the "know when to peak" does not work anymore, we must always be in battle mode come prelims and perform)

      The new Philippines organization is the reason why Philippines doesn't do well internationally. BBP never made their representatives change their looks have all sort of things done on their face and body. The new organization is so obsessed with look which begs a question why don't they just choose the person who has the look they want instead of getting this girls changing who they are

    I like your discussion on the tactics of the Philippines. As a Filipino I really think that holding back strategy is very dangerous. If we want to continue to have a mark on Miss Universe we must better step up and head on.

    Thank you so much for your words about Venezuela. ❤Same as you, I was very worried about the Miss Venezuela Org not been innovative and for months I’ve been thinking that the current team lacks of vision. However, the organization showed a lot of support to Amanda and I believe Amanda’s creativity and desire to make it far end up showing great results. Im looking forward to hear what you think about Diana Silva, Miss Venezuela 2022. ❤

    Thank You for your very Honest recap of MU. I’m a Filipino and I am Very very Hapoy for RBonney to get the crown. She work sooo hard for this Crown. Not to mention on what she went through all the Allegations !!! Instead of giving her supports they all wished for her to be out and put instead the first runner up who is the Miss Carolina!!! Now she showed to all of them that she is Truly deserving to grab the Miss Universe Crown!!! It is indeed Devine intervention 🙏🙏🙏🎉🎊🎉🎊🥂💖💖💝❤️💕

    I always felt that the Filipino and Thai fanbase is very passionate about their candidates , added that they’ve placed consistently of course it’s going to result in an overly confident fanbase which often times then not have vitriol and toxic commentary in order to amp up their candidates. I’m happy they didn’t place hopefully this will serve them as a reminder that they aren’t better than any other country. Till next year❤️

      I've always said it that the Pinoy-Pageant Crazy fanbase can be EXTREMELY TOXIC and UGLY to the extent it tarnishes their delegates' representation on the International stages and to the Judges notwithstanding the respective Organisations....
      Learn, Crazy Pageant Pinoy fans LEAARRRNNN!!! 🙄😒😏🤦🏿‍♂️

      Pageantry is a competition and just like any other, there are countries that are better. Do you think Venezuela/South Africa/The Philippines are equal to China/Seychelles/Ghana? Competitions are almost always not a leveled playing field. Most European countries/ East Asian countries don't put much effort into this competition. They treat MU like a weekend acivity.

    • @emarie3214
      @emarie3214 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Philippines is a powerhouse country, so it's a fact that everyone expected them to be better than other countries (because of all the support the candidate received).. so when a Philippines candidate did something not good to pageant fans eyes, the bashing, that's why they always feels the pressure.. I think same situation to other powerhouse pageant counties

    • @nthatomiya6498
      @nthatomiya6498 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chaoticheaven17 that’s still inexcusable for the vitriol commentary those sash factor countries display ever single year ESPECIALLY the Philippine. You can be prideful for your country but don’t be spiteful towards others , it’s called sportsmanship , learn it.

    • @nthatomiya6498
      @nthatomiya6498 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @NOOB there’s nothing wrong with being confident , just don’t go around degrading or talk down upon other countries in order to amp up your own, it’s very uninviting
