this honestly was such a sweet video(: I would watch your videos and see the adventures you embark on, but getting to know the adventurer behind them all was very nice & refreshing. ❤️
I would love love love to see your portfolio. I'm also applying to Stanford this year with an Arts Supplement and I'm super duper nervous and equally as excited. (Ahh with REA and Arts Supplement the date moves up to October 15th, next weekend!!!)
Great video! I checked out your photography, and it's incredible. :) I'm a visual artist in my junior year, and I am genuinely passionate about art. However, I've never really entered into any art contests or competitions before, just because I don't really have much of an interest in winning contests. I just create art daily on my own time. I have done some commissions for people, but nothing really "prestigious" that I could concretely put on my application. (I do think that I have pretty good technical skills when it comes to art, though.) I am definitely planning on submitting a portfolio for the art supplement. Do you think that this is enough to prove your skill to universities, or should I start worrying about winning more art contests?
When I view such videos it makes sense that these people really spend time to pursue their interests right from young whereas most are working each day to get thru life. Yes this lady’s dad is a cardiologist and hence she could choose what she is interested and that is a ticket to Ivy League. Got it
Hi Tiffany!!! I have a question about Stanford supplements (i'm applying this year). Did you talk about something different for each supplement question? Or did you tie all of those together? I have a lot of things to talk about, but I don't know if I should keep my supplements consistent or just write about everything I want to. Thanks!
6:41 What robotics club was that? I am also an aspiring cinematographer who used to be in robot competitions. It was always a huge goal to make it to world championships.
BRUH I'M APPLYING FOR PANEL FOR 2018! I passed CM 10 in 6th grade, I'm basically a child genius. HOWEVER, WHEN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL HIT, I DONT PRACTICE AND I SUCK AND HONESTLY, I'M WORRIED ABOUT MYSELF NOW! Panel was my dream, and to think that I would not do well when I have done so much in the past makes me sad
I didn't take the most rigorous courses in High School. I have like a 3.8 GPA over-all and my junior year I took AP Computer Science A and Honors Physics and am currently taking AP Computer Science Principles. Will the lack of rigorous courses affect my application? If so, how much and what do I do to fix it?
King Elite The lack of rigorous courses is detrimental to your application. However, you may have a chance at some competitive colleges if you have impressive EC's and good test scores. Grades aren't everything but your coursework is the foundation of your application and colleges really like to see an upward trend or consistent rigor.
No, only take rigorous courses in your field of passion, while some people do take all rigorous classes, I know people who specialized perhaps in science courses taking all AP and Honors who have gotten into top notch schools.
Hey! I had 4 Bs in freshmen year, but all As in 10th and 11th grade! I took a mix of honors, regular, and AP classes. I'm a professional ice skater and I got my testing done, tho I have not done national competitions. I'm a pianist who is has gotten many awards and state recognition. I transferred after 9th grade, so I could not really get into school clubs and organizations... And I might even transfer next semester aha :/ I did start MUN and FBLA clubs and I'm most likely gonna be JSA president! Ugh applications are coming up, and I kinda have a good idea for my essays! What are my chances at Stanford? I REALLY REALLY WANT TO GO TO STANFORD THAT WAS MY DREAM SINCE 5TH GRADE... Btw I'm a typical korean ugh I wish I was a mix lol
@@sanjoabraham7316 I meant being lucky as in having the opportunity for such preparation. She is obviously working hard and I'm personally motivated by her!

The fact that you have created a TH-cam channel helped you in your curriculum ❓❓❓❤️🤔
DID YOUR ROBOTICS TEAM WIN THE AWARD AT LA REGIONALS AT THE PYRAMID BC IF SO I WAS THERE

Lol she mentions that her grades and scores were “in range” at Stanford.

80% how I got into Stanford videos have Asian Americans in them
Is it the same in Stanford?
Can’t be... if you check like any school’s demographics, you’ll see that probably 20-40% are Asian...
