This is really amazing. I would not have suspected this was a green screen shot composited over CGI. I don't think most people would, because it's completely possible that she's sitting on a real dock, maybe in a park, but it's also so photorealistic. Your use of depth of field with trees in the background really sells it. I think when I'm working on scenes, I tend to get bogged down with modeling realistic details, when sometimes it's not required.
thx for this clear walk trough, big tumbs up from a ultra noob in this area who found himself a new hobby definitely subscribed to follow your journey. Best

AMAZING WORK BRO!!! i don't know how to use blender but i still learnt a lot of valuable tricks from this...hopefully can apply them to unreal, 3ds max or c4d which i plan on learning soon....
You’re super talented bro. I’m so overwhelmed to learn blender & apply vfx on my short movies 😂 but i really can’t understand if it’s worth. For example adding gun muzzle flash, 3d bullets, placing moving objects, environments, but really don’t know if its worth putting time and effort to learn it. Still can’t visualize the possibilities and limitation of blender as vfx/cgi software for short films. 👍🏻
esta excelente, pero mis ojos a la vez que se aleja o se acerca la cámara se ve que es un efecto. De todas formas excelente. me gusta 👍😏It is excellent, but my eyes while the camera zooms in or out is an effect. Anyway excellent. I like it 👍😏
I have to be honest here as impressive as this clearly is, it's still obvious it's not a real place. However we are definitely getting there. This level of CG environment creation would have been out of reach of us mere mortals just 5 years ago never mind 10 or 20. It does have a certain quality where if you were to make a movie like this it would be cool as the aesthetic is like the 300 movie or Spartacus Blood and Sand, in my opinion.

Where do you buy your green screen material. Also, how much green screen material should I buy and how big should it be if I want to cover a wall and floor and some spare cloth to cover objects that the people can interact with?
Hello. If you know, please leave a comment. In about 8 minutes and 39 seconds, the image looks a little blurry in the render image, and I wonder how the rendering results come out clearly. In my case, if the image is clear, it usually looks blurry when importing the image into a plane and it's the same when rendering, but how do I make the image appear in the sentence when rendering?? How can a person be clearly visible when rendering??
I guess because the process of importing green screen or pre keyed footage into blender is much easier. import images as planes and done! although UE is awesome the same process is overly complicated for what its worth. in blender its a couple steps but to achieve same in UE its about a 25 step process, no joke!

do you need to constrain the greenscreen to the 3d model?
Question? If you buy some 3d model. Do you need to render it.
it looks so good and relatively easy that I am surprised small studios dont use it. or maybe they do?
