Alex James, it’s the city’s fault for not realizing tall glass building doesn’t work in a city with a superhero after seeing what has happened to star city and central city for the past 7 years. After meta humans and main villain attacks you would think they would see a tall building with glass as a major hazard.

This scene explains why Flash’s speed seems inconsistent at times. He restricts his speed when running around the city to prevent property damage. Once he ramps up his speed at the end of the scene, the entire glass on the building is shattered.

The glass pieces arent goddamn knives, what happens when you break a window is that the glass breaks and just stay like flat pieces, Barry shattering/breaking the glass by running is basically the same as him punching it, not really any injuries.

People say the budget for this was bad...but it really isn't. it's just it's a day time scene vs all the other CGI scenes they usually do that are at night. so the imperfections of the CGI are a little more apparent. honestly, this actually was impressive by CW/television standards imo
