I’m still in disbelief this is real. When Bandai Namco asked me to make an animation for Elden Ring I gave a big resounding yes. The Souls series is so incredibly close to my heart. It’s also crazy they let me do whatever I want, thanks for trusting me to be silly in your world. Now I can actually play the game!

Nono, the guy he doesn't trust is in the game. He looks really sus. But if you go through the main gate you will die to archers and ballista bolts. He tells you to take the back way in and its much safer.

He isn't outright evil but he does steal from you. He's playing both sides- if you win and finish off Godrick, he wins because he hates his boss, and relishes the chance to step on his head. If you lose, he steals some of your runes from your body (you may notice that if you Retrieve Runes in the castle while that NPC is alive, you only get like 75% back instead of the full value). He also stalks you at a few points.

Was someone to ask me to rank the crossability of different types of wall for a horse, I would rank them as such:

The funniest part of the third scenario is that one of the summons actually does something similar if you can find the easter egg. You accidentally walked through a somewhat cannon scenario, sight unseen. haha

It's definitely accurate to how a player who has played the last 4 (including Bloodborne) Souls games would approach this game. The only inaccurate thing is that the pressure plate would shoot 3 darts at you instead of dropping an anvil.
There would be a 35 minute Vaati video about the lore behind the Chest High Wall tho.

NOT gonna lie.. as someone already mentioned but this is one of the greatest ideas... The three soldiers could have their own short's series where they just be dumb, unexpectable and restricted in their own game logic. The name can be something recognizeable like ''Soldiers of Elden Ring'' or something more exciting than that... xD

@@GB2G I think its rotoscoped, as in animated over recordings of real people, like they did for the classic Prince of Persia games.
@@vahlok1426 its not rotoscoped. Well kind of. It's acted out live, then joel draws the first frame and uses neural net AI wizardry to interpolate the next frames after that. He did a tutorial on it a year ago I think.

I’ve discovered this masterpiece around the time it was published. Since then, I’ve platinumed the game and watched the whole video probably a couple dozen times. The delivery of the “he’s suicidal” line is still one of the funniest performances I’ve ever seen

You meet a jelly (dog) that is calling out for her sister, and if you use the jelly fish summom, the jelly says that they can finally ascend and both jellies disappear, giving access to a chest.

Low walls actually do exist. They were quite useful actually. The enemy would charge and the defending army would let them cross the wall only to push them back and make them trip. An apparently insignificant obstacle becomes a mountain when you're surrounded by hundred of angry men trying to kill each other.

I felt the spirit of Monty Python in the entire chest-high wall bit. Could have been straight out of an episode of Flying Circus or a scene in Holy Grail and wouldn't have felt an ounce out of place.
