Thank you for this video! I had been trying to decide between full aftermarket tail light assemblies, but many of the ones on the market are not DOT approved. Even the best options (like the JW Speaker 279) seem to have fitment issues for some and mediocre reverse brightness. That's not something I want to risk for that kind of money. This seems like a great alternative. Those wanting to change aesthetics could always still opt for a guard or cover (especially with the improved output from these kits). Thanks again!
Which two wires? That's the most important part of this installation. The rest is a pretty brainless install, but knowing which wires to splice is the biggest part. Only need to remove the inner two screws on the tail light mount.
@@MrCatch24alx There's two black wires. He says in the video, "we'll show you which two", but then he just holds a black and yellow wire. What he doesn't say, which I learned from other videos, is that the wires are faintly marked on the plastic where the wire enters the tail light assembly.
You only need to remove the two inside screws, not all 4.

Wish they showed the other side since it’s a completely different and more wiring on the left side.

I don;t get it with these videos, just list the damn bulb / kit, the link is to a search engine and a bunch of other stuff.
