I use the Broadcast setting on Premiere Pro audio settings, that helps make the sound brighter. I also play with the Parametric EQ to bump up the lower end frequencies a little for the beatbox basses and kicks. I have a hard limiter on the master track to make sure there isn't any peaking in the audio. Hope it helps!

Chest bass is easier than throat bass.
Yeah it seems to be that way! Most of my students learn chest bass before they learn throat bass. It was the same for me too!
