      When he doesn't make penalties, he is one of the best locks in the world. You can see that on Argentina's wins against new zealand and australia this year.

A few of those were just stupid, and a few unlucky, could have happened to anyone, but no team can afford to keep going a man down. He's a good player, but he's not good enough to make up for his poor discipline.

      @@jonathanhalloran8807 is that supposed to be somehow funny ? Nothing of what you mention is needed, they should simply ensure a deliberate reckless shoulder charge to someone's face/neck like the one on Healy carries always very serious disciplinary consequences. • @jonathanhalloran8807
      @jonathanhalloran8807 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mrpaolobafico I am sick of seeing cards given for minor incidents where there is no intent (although you're right, that one looked pretty bad and deliberate). But since u asked, there's far more to it than that. This game once had charm. Charm because educated men would bash each other then shake hands and discuss tax returns after the game. Note that there are 2 aspects to "charm": wit and ferociousness. The professional evolution of this game means that, perhaps out of necessity, perhaps out of female virtues (mothers taking care of their sons), the ferocious aspect has been removed and replaced with rules. Hmmm. Rules. Further and more importantly, wit has been superseded by diplomacy - a very overrated virtue - and this is being taught to kids. Sons growing up believing that rhetoric and egality are more important virtues than humour and assertiveness. So the "wit" has also been removed and replaced with something inferior. Now the only place you see ferociousness is in the UFC (but no wit). Now the only place you see wit is....... nowhere!! Rugby's 2 most important and attractive characteristics are being replaced by cynical referees. SO yeah. That's what I disagree with mr. soft boy.

    The one at 1:37 had his left arm clearly around the leg; yes, bad position for the person being tackled, but the "no arms" claim is just ridiculous. It was an "arm out" chop tackle. If that's illegal, fine, but tell it like it is.

    Weirdly, I feel for him in a way. There was a distinct period at school when I was the class-villain. Even though Lavanini keeps giving the world reasons to be against him, it's a horrible feeling, trust me.

    • @reniervanrooyen1704
      @reniervanrooyen1704 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In effect, it really comes down to him hating himself for whatever reason. That makes one do one dumb thing after another.
      But once you find the root and you remove it, you will have inner peace.
      In most cases, I think 90% +, it is because he does not have a dad.
      There are millions who suffer from this disease and we are all quick to condemn without understanding the problem.
      I have had family members who were crushed by this inner pain that they had to live with all their lives.
      We are inclined to judge things from the surface without looking at the underlying causes!!!!
      Once you deal with your own issues and you start healing, there is a world out there waiting for help!!!

    I think the one vs SA when they’re playing in red is wrong, the commentators say his arm nearly gets round, point being the law doesn’t state you have to wrap law states you must attempt to wrap the arms and he did so wrong call if you ask me, slow mo makes everything look worse should only be used for foul play in terms of point of contact/ where did the player land head/neck or back/shoulder/chest.

  • @pastorofmuppets8834

    4:48 a clear tactic to milk the going to early penalty. I think the attacking team there should be penalized. I also hate rolling mauls from lineout tries, so this will reduce that too.
