22:35: Thank you for speaking up for the truth. I love the idea of a podcast or rant channel! Your insights are valuable and appreciated! 🙏💖✨ *_"Zionism is a threat to all of mankind... None of us are free until Palestine is free."_* - _Vanessa Redgrave, 1978_ 🇵🇸❤️
To be honest, I was surprised my Catherine saying yes, because I got the feeling she didn’t even like Freddie‘s personality that much, as soon as she said „I just want to be chosen“ I got it, she would have said yes to anyone because she expects others to fix her insecurities. He made the right decision, someone shared pictures of Cat and Sam shopping together 🤣🫣
In hindsight, two things that made it obvious Cat was going to say yes is the fact that she told her friend that if she shows up to the wedding she's going to say yes, and the fact that Freddie kept implying shes materialistic and after giving her earrings she seemed to be feeling better about him, which kind of proves his point 😂
I know others may not agree but I feel like Tom never liked Maria all that much -- I'm not sure if it's an attraction thing or a fear of lack of attraction from her but it seems like he found something to latch onto so he had a reason to say no. I understand a fundamental difference of values is obviously not a way to start a relationship but Maria is independent so why does he keep talking like he'll end up bing her caregiver or if they had a daughter she'd be raised to b dependent on men? Ollie and Demi -- good. Demi knew in her spirit Ollie didn't like her. Ollie seemed very superficial and I think that's why things were going better back in the real world -- because there were no other couples to compare to aesthetically. Cathy and Freddie -- Great! If she considered his playful annoying, she would've ended up dimming his light to the point of snuffing it out completely. And I thought about, he's a FUNERAL DIRECTOR, you'd think she would consider that he sees so much death and heartache day-to-day that he uses humor to stay connected to vitality and humanity and to find the little bits of joy in life because he's surrounded by death? I think she's used to being praised in a sense or even men she's dated in the past just wouldn't have fun with her so she doesn't even understand the concept of playful teasing -- some men think playful teasing is throwing a wedding cake in their wife's face so she could've had a winner if she wasn't so superficial.
i totally agree with what you said about tom! it makes more sense because in his convo with tash he told her that they are not 100% sure if they’re going to marry. i think tash telling him so intensely how shes feeling for him was because he already gave that vibe that hes not totally into maria and the overall relationship
Maria herself said she expected the man to pay for things when they are out and it’s her culture, that if she was out with him and seen paying she would be embarrassed, she wanted the traditional marriage roles and to stay home with the kids. At least that’s what they showed her saying.
@@rosieweaselby she said she didn’t fully expect a man to pay everything and she still intended to work but she’d want the first few years of her kids lives off… either way Tom didn’t seem to express that concern after the pods… not the way he should’ve. Also that doesn’t determine the way you have to raise a child considering if they had one, it’d be a child of 2 cultures.
Totally agree about Tom. Shows how much some men really never grow out of the f*ck boy stage. The moment Tom ended things with Tash because he felt a sexual tension with Maria, is the moment I knew he wasn't serious. Contrasted with how Steven is with Sabrina or how Bobby is with Jasmine- both of those men affirm their women in more ways than just sexually, and that's really all Tom harped on even at the beginning. Then his comment about how others would see him and Maria as a couple was very suss. The fact is Tom was looking for a trophy wife type of girl who he could go 50-50 with. On Freddie and Catherine, good god, am I glad that didn't work out. Aside from the rude comments Catherine kept making to Freddie in front of people, I feel she has a deep insecurity because of her abandonment issues from being adopted, and her and someone like Freddie, who uses humor to get close with people, just wouldn't have worked. Catherine needs someone much more affirming, sort of like how Steven was with Sabrina. The problem is,shes a bit of an avoidamt herself and doesn't gel well with the affirming type of man, because she probably sees that as disingenuous. Truthfully Catherine just needs therapy, and until she get that, she'll poke holes in every relationship she's in
I'm one hundred percent pro prenup. I'm currently taking my younger sister through varsity. I want the property I own now to go to my neice and nephew. Whatever we build in the marriage can be ours as a couple. But anything before that should go to whoever you see fit.
Keep the Stutter Box, it’s great naming and it’s already part of your identity therefore will seamlessly blend with your future brand identity. Either the US or a massive natural disaster will be the end of us, and we are the generation that will see it all. This is the era of the politician “pop star”, it started a few years ago with Trump and now is spreading everywhere, we unfortunately have Ventura as an example of that in Portugal.
I really like your channel name. I have zero right to an opinion since I am brand new here 😅 but enjoying the 2 Love is Blind videos I've watched and your banter and commentary, so will stick around for more.
Love to hear your opinions, but I do have to disagree strongly with you about the "everybody is a cheat" - I really know I could never. To me it's a very simple decision - if you're in a committed relationship but meet someone you are so attracted to that you feel you just need to pursue them, simply break off your existing commitment, before you pursue the new person. Just break it off cleanly. Or talk to them and check if they're open to opening up the relationship, if that's potentially your and their thing. It's really not a hard concept to grasp, and to me there is absolutely no excuse to betray the confidence of someone you love. And if you don't love the person you're in a commitment with, it's time to leave anyway.
I understand that (and was expecting people to have this opinion to be completely honest), and I don’t necessarily disagree. Maybe I should have phrased it more as a “anyone can have the desire to cheat” and not everyone will act in the right way (speak to their partner or even break up). It’s more that there is no person on earth that will make you lose the desire to potentially be with someone. Just because someone chested in the past doesn’t mean they’ll do it again or they won’t. There are people who will cheat indiscriminately, but a lot of the times it’s just a perfect set of circumstances that people can’t resist, and it doesn’t necessarily define them for the rest of their lives. Because deep down, anyone could find themselves in that position (maybe if they’re less mature or the relationship is toxic/dangerous, or they grow apart, or there isn’t healthy communication established). At the end of the day it’s incredibly complex, and I felt Cat held onto it because she needed a reason to validate her insecurities. I’ll dive deeper into this in a future video though, there’s so much that can be said for so many different situations - but I understand where you’re coming from, and my slightly contradictory position on this isn’t completely lost on me 😅
Hahahaha never watch love is blind high is a word. I watched E1-4 soooo high, I can’t speak for the puffy eyes and throbbing headache I had after all the irrational tears I cried. Approached the vows more aware, was tryna have another headache. Jasmine got me tho😭
So this show makes people dress for a wedding, have family there, say their vows to then say no, knowing they do not want to get married???? Is this legal???? Creating trauma makes good TV I guess...
They do. Welcome to the Netflix universe 😂 ... there are so many seasons, and also from different countries. You'd think nobody would do this, its insane. It is, many people do it though
I'm relieved that Tom and Maria didn't end up together; she deserves someone much better than his dull personality. He seems to want a partner who will build an empire for him, but Maria isn't going to play the role of his bob the builder chick . Absolutely not.
@@toomuchinformation he will find a strong woman who doesn’t need a man to give her food 🤣 a woman who will be with him for him not for his bank account 🤣 they paled well when her family was saying it’s not all about money but at the same time she want is him paying for everything 💀🤣🤣🤣 if it’s not about money why doesn’t she want to work? 🤣🤣🤣 as a Moroccan myself this maria doesn’t represent Moroccan culture AT ALL 🤣 my Moroccan mother worked all her life and helped with everything and as my Moroccan grandma said, doesn’t ask for a banker as a husband and expect him to see you as an equal human being 🤣 he will always think you own him 😄💀🤡🤦🏽♀️
"In the perfect circumstance with the right person anyone would cheat" no babes....no. If I really felt that strongly about someone else I would simply leave my current partner because obviously something isnt working
14:51 i think you are talking about men in general because when a honorable woman or man(?) loves someone truly they wouldn't cheat no matter how hot or rich they are.
And who are you to judge how another person practices their religion. We Muslims are not supposed to judge how others practice; that is between them and Allah SWT.
"Not paying for shit". Here speaks the goldigger. 50/50 is only about finances, forget all of the invisible work that falls on women's shoulders. Guys who want 50/50 are energy vampires, mining women for their child bearing, child rearing, domestic, emotional, social, sexual resources and not paying shit for it. You sound like an energy vampire to me.
I'm sorry but the math is not mathing... yes it is ok to have a prenup given the circumstances of the speed wedding on a netflix show, I get it, but it's not ok that he wanted to give all to his sister, and even to tell Catherine that! I really don't understand this concept that modern men have these days about my money: ¨before I met you all the money that I got is mine so I am not sharing it with you (my future wife and future mother of my children), and the money I make while I am with you is ours¨... WHAT? Seriously? this makes no sense at all, you come into a relationship with all that you are and offer that, and you want women to make a life safety and security decision that is to share your life with a man on money that could potentially exist out of her own work, the only difference is that being with you she has to share it with you... I mean this is Ludacris honestly. When you marry a woman she becomes your family, she is your family now! grow up! Honestly, what would you think if your father put these conditions on your mother? does that seem right to you? nah..

The way Oli askes why when Demi said no at the alter. Idk why but it's just stuck in my head.
Either he's a very good actor or he was blindsided.
Because it was a really good question .. He clearly didn't get it

The way he cocked his head to one side when he said it, so funny. He did NOT expect that!!
Because he was expecting Demi to say YES and he will later say NO. That was his ego talking..
The ending happens exactly how I thought I knew Steven and Sabrina, Benaiah and Nicole, Bobby and Jasmine ❤❤❤
