I ride the Gooye because I like the loose feeling. It‘s more like on my kite board bindings. I am a kite boarder. I only go to cable if there is no wind for longer time.
Hi JB! I really liked these new Freepress boots when found them in a local boardshop. My level is like a confident beginner, only cable parks, I do like jibbing and kickers and I’ve just started learning air tricks. Can’t decide which System bindings to pair with these boots as an all-purpose setup in my case - a lowback or highback version, can you advise please?
Hi JB, I am interested to know if you get any foot health issues using full toe boots for a long time in hot weather, as personally I found it can lead to athletes foot or nail discoloration. To counter this I bought a traditional open-toe pair of bindings that I switch to through summer which works well.
@@jboneill My first bindings were some old open-toe Hyperlight ones with 0 support and I was hesitant to go back to traditional bindings. But I was recommended Ronix Divide and they work well even vs. HL System.

Yeah the open toe just doesn’t have the same leverage, I just take them off when I’m done.
But yeah no athletes foot for me
