I am loving all of the full length song lessons lately. Thank you for those. I think Nirvana gets a lot of trash talked on them because most of their songs aren't super difficult to play. There is a lot of masterful melody structure and brilliantly dissonant chord progressions that make their music very special.
@@sabrinatiffany45 yes. Specifically Nirvana is always talked down upon by music critics because Kurt was not as competent a singer as Woods, Vedder, Staley or Cornell. Many people criticize their song writing and Kurt's guitar playing as being unrefined and crude. I am not one of those people. I picked up Bleach in a small record store in Seattle in 1991 and loved them immediately. I think that critics missed the point of the Grunge movement.
It was fun playing bass along with this lesson, and hearing it from these guys who learned to play it when when first came out, like I did as a young man.

it will surely be running for the 2021/2022 season (probably last preorders will be placed on February 2022) Fender usually runs them for a year (check out other recent signatures, as Radiohead 's Ed strat , Tash Montana, Her...) Kurt is way more popular so if they do a second run it would be on different colors only if they outsell
@@0000song0000 The Jag-Stang has never been offered in any color other than the two colors Kurt requested Sonic Blue and Fiesta Red. I don’t see Fender ever offering it in a different color.
Those pickups sound so good! Definitely better than the original one and the alder body too brings out the best in the jagstang, Btw does it have 500k pots?
I love that Fender reissued the Jag-Stang ...but the price... scheesch that needs to be lowered. €1,350 is wayyyy too much for this guitar. Should be more like €750.
I wish people would stop saying that "this music" came out of nowhere. Not true. Nirvana was a known club band in the college circuit and Jane's Addiction and RHCP were on MTV and MuchMusic years before Nevermind broke. So were Sonic Youth and the Pixies among many others. Old guy rant over...
In futue- please fender be sure when you are paying money to people like eugene be sure that he can even play simple riff as come as you are. i think it is very unproffesional and as a guitar player i think it is rejecting

I have a left handed sonic blue on preorder with Sweetwater. They said it would be approximately a six month wait! Pretty crazy
I had a first run lefty jagstang back in the day that was one of the first in Australia 🤘
Why can’t they say BOSS DS1? Why do they keep saying “the orange distortion pedal”
Cause fender makes their own distortion
My fav tone off Nevermind was into the Breed!
Dave credited Chad Channing for that signature beat on the drums for nirvana.
Well maybe in bloom and the bleach songs but chad wasn’t really around for nevermind on
@@matthewkennedy7283 well the part they referred to in the video was Chad Channing’s part so…

Boss ds1
Not a bad improv of the song's
too bad i cant afford one, like its made in mexico why is it soo damn expensive??????
Obviously these are good guitar players but they haven't played these songs before is apparent

I'm like fender don't care about if at least the video will make profit...discusting
And still no Mustang representation.
Kurt always used cheap guitare. I dont think he would've been happy to see how expensive this guitare is...
Hey strat guy, get rid of your fret buzz
Verry knowledgeably on nirvana's but not kurt I love the music but do not worship him
You shouldn't worship any human
The strats sound is terrible
