@King Similien I was thinking that at first, but his face is all over the show he wouldn't have come in if it was stolen. I think when he was going to show his ID and the receipt is printed, he might not get it back. He was offered a full price but he rejected it, i think what happened was the memories was coming to him. This can happen to certain item with sentimental value, happened to me.
I think the Gibson guy made a good call not selling, you could tell the pawn dude really wanted it, he was even gonna go back up to 50k.
Honestly, like no one realizes how amazing and treasurable that guitar is. Any guitar player, myself included, would do anything to have a piece of art like that.
