    I love this, Angela K, cause I don’t even own a canner and can’t afford one right now 😂. Banana peppers and poblano peppers are my favorites! I love to just eat the banana peppers raw💕🌻🥰😂

      @artofcreationhomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are pepper lovers too....we grew some poblano peppers one year and they were a bit hotter than we had hoped so we just stick to sweet peppers for the sake of our stomachs😀

      Phyllis I use a stockpot to can small jars for water bathing as long as you can have 1-2 inches of water over the top of the jars and still get a boil you can use it for a water bath canner, you do have to have something in the bottom to keep the jars off the bottom, you can lay canning rings on the bottom to hold the jars up from the bottom of your pot. I also made a pad to put in the bottom of one pot I cut a bath towel in a circle to match the pot and cut 4 circles and just stitched across them to "quilt" them and it worked for me

    Tfs! This is the 1st year I have banana peppers and I want to make just a jar or 2. I wonder if store bought adds turmeric, because they are like a yellow. I look fwd to adding the sugar & having a touch of sweetness. Thanks, and God bless!

I can't wait to get to the farmers market to can some banana peppers. I love them on everythig=ng. The problem I have with purchased peppers is they put the parts in that taste woody and it turns me off.I'm making zucchini relish today I just searched your channel for a recipe if you have a good one can you make a video. My daughter loves zucchini relish and eats it with everything. I use it in relish in everything from macaroni salad to tuna salad. We just love love it.

    Why would they go bad after three weeks in the frig? There are comments that people put them up for the year?

    • @artofcreationhomestead
      @artofcreationhomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They don't go bad after three weeks, but they will pickle more and get more sour and probably soften some and not be as crunchy.
