Thank you for reviewing this. I thought I was stuck with Windows 7+A12 9800 with an HD60 pro. Now I can instead get this card and use Linux Mint with a Ryzen 5700G. You saved me a massive headache in my Mini ITX build.

To work but I was doing some research on it and it shoots in 1080i not sure if I will like that…but do you do consults because I have some questions and I don’t wanna take up your time?
I enjoy your no nonsense approach to your videos. I am a long time subscriber. Do you have audio latency with this capture card? I use usb3 capture cards with obs and I have about 100 ms audio delay I have to correct. I might purchase one to experiment with. thanks for your consideration
it depends where you connect the audio to, using OBS you could correct this but if audio is used from the HDMI connection there should be no problem with that,
I have Decklink Mini Recorder 4k on my motherboard can I install two more BlackMagic Design Decklink Mini Recorder HD. There are two more mini PCI slots on the motherboard. If I can add two more, then it will work fine if there are 3 cards
I have a question: can you connect two cameras to the HDMI and SDI inputs and use them at the same time? I mean can you add as an input first with the HDMI as source and also with the SDI as input? So can you use this like a two channel Atem basically? Thx.
thanks for the video...i just purchased a used mini recorder ( the "old" one, pcb made in 2014 ). i want to run the card with macOS ventura but the card is not installing the driver...its beeing recognized as video device, but no driver is installed and the BMD software is not seeing the card as well. any help would be appreciated... :)
AJAY, I’m going to need your help with a refresher training for OBS, setting up a new TH-cam channel for our church service and being able to stream on multiple platforms (ie, Facebook, TH-cam and other media outlets). Give me a call when you get a chance.
Hello, I'm a year late to the party but I have a question. Will this card capture the original audio (DTS, DD 5.1, AC3 5.1..etc...) or will it only capture\convert everything to Stereo? Thank you...
Hi AJ, I'm actually getting the regualr Non HD Decklink that does up to 1080 30P. Will it work well with my Wirecast software? Just want to make sure. Thanks!

While im live streaming my church service i notice every so often it will switch to a black screen for about 2 sec then the picture comes back. Any reason why it does that? Thanks!
Just bought one for a low specs windows pc, (3GB systemRAM) also bought a 8GB RAM module to replace the system RAM, i hope it will work for me, then this would be a good "deal" for me, instead of USB China garbage...
@@alexstone691 USB is already being used by other hardware…. the one lane of the PCIe slot is dedicated to…the video capture device, Decklink Mini Recorder HD, fastest connection available..
@@xavierzander4201 Still price difference is huge, but you gave me the idea maybe i should get a usb 2.0 pci card then plug the chinese one it may work better, but honestly for me it works great already

Yes it your motherboard had the pci lanes available. This is different from slots

it will capture the original audio sent to it. Make sure you verify the settings for the audio in the desktop video app you get with the drivers
