The guy screaming oh my God at the end actually brought me to tears because I remember 5 years ago with my 15 year old self first saw this and couldn't actually believe there was going to be a new star wars movie...this was my reaction for every movie and trailer I've ever seen in the last 5 years
I still watch this. Absolutely the best trailer for any movie I've seen. Reaction was fantastic. Can't wait for rogue one, then one year til episode 8!
I get what Ryan Johnson was trying to do, but I thought the story was ridiculous. He had a chance, with the whole Star Wars universe at his disposal, to make the greatest Star Wars movie. But he failed. I didn’t hate it, but I wasn’t a fan either.
Everyone was so excited back then, me included. Blissfully unaware of the dumpster fire that would unfold over the next 4 years. I bet at least 80% of this cheering crowd would shit on the sequels if you talked to them today.
Still watch this in 2019. 80 days until TROS. It went by so fast. This is still one of best trailers I’ve seen. Avengers Endgame 1st trailer was dam close though.
Right but Johnson destroyed all the potential xDD. Now, we'll see what they do with the old republic films and we expect they don't fall down in the same mistakes.

They did the worst trilogy sequels possible but not all is lost. We have The Mandalorian, we have Clone Wars and expect news series and movies. SW sank very low but Disney maybe learn about their mistakes....

The serie has evolved together with the fans and it has turned more dark and complicated and it has become in more than a simple animated serie but I understand you don't like the animated series. @@TIG5574 I definitely felt it made some really poor choices. Rian totally underestimated how revered Luke Skywalker is, and treating him so poorly in the story did not do Rian any favors. Even Mark Hamill, who never has a bad word to say about anyone in the film business felt that Rian's ideas for Luke were wrong. Plus, things like the "Leia Poppins" scene and too much shlapstick comedy in there were just too much for a lot of people. Then RoS had to come in and try to right the ship again. It had mistakes if its own, but I definitely feel that if one person had at least written all three it would have turned out far better.
