      I just now saw this comment! Thanks for the kind words! I like to show things in action when I enjoy a service and/or product. Let me know if you have any questions about Mystro or rideshare in general!

    Something to take into consideration - economically sensible, or not - by rejecting too many rides your ride requests become less frequent, causing longer wait times for new requests. The way the system works is it tries to find and pair passengers to the nearest drivers, the GPS doesn't always get your location correctly, so in many cases it may skip you giving the ride to a different driver.
    Uber and Lyft - as a service provider - want to provide a service that will continue to bring in business. Your accepptance rate could effect how frequent your ride requests are if you don't have a high rating and enough good feedback. The higher star, and accepptance rating drivers more then likely always get the requests first if they're within a reasonable distance. This gives better assurance the client will be satisfied with their ride. Rejecting too much could effect the reliability on your account.
    I'm not trashing the app, I'm just saying if you use this methods to maximize your earnings make sure you work hard at getting your account to a position where it won't effect your reliability and use it when it makes sense. Examples, try to limit your usage to only when you're near sarge areas and the return is worth it, during peak hours and when you need to maximize rides for your bonus.

    Hello Chris, First of all thank you for your time and helpful videos. This video review of Mystro was great and gave me a good understanding as I plan to use it. I see that you drive an XL, as I do to with a Dodge minivan. From your experience what are the best places and times to get xl rides? I am in south Florida and the benefits are the many events going on all year long. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Have a great day and be safe on the road. Thank you. JP

    Chris, I just got back from an evening of driving. In my 11 rides . . . ALL eleven were Uber!
    As I think about last week, I seem to be getting 6 or 7 Uber rides to 1 Lyft. Have you noticed a swing in the ratio of Uber/Lyft rides?
    (keep up the good work!)

    I wish it let you know how far the rider is going! That would be awesome $.... I have been driving for year now all I do pick up all the rides except pool abusely lol and turn off other app by clicking on it and if it's doesn't affect acceptance rate then I don't get it why we need mystro? Maybe it's busy where u at? I'm in ATL,,, but I also understand it would be mean if accepted both and then cancel on one but even that rarely happens!!!

      its not about the auto switch apps, its about being able to say im only taking surge trjps, no uber pool, just for that its worth wayy more than 100 bucks

    I had it on ON. I had a Lyft request, and got hit with a Uber request at the same time and it screwed me up so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I thought it was supposed to shut the other app off as soon as you got a request from either???

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This page explains what might have happened there. Simultaneous requests are pretty rare, in my experience, but they can happen.

      If i have the lyft app and also the uber app on at the same time. Will the non primary app turn off, or will it stay on?

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you asking if the non-primary app will turn off when you get a request? The purpose of the primary app is to allow a specified amount of time to pass before the secondary app comes on.

    • @carriethompson84
      @carriethompson84 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know this is an older post but what you're basically asking is, once it accept a ride from, let's say Uber, then lift should automatically shut down and not send through any requests because you've currently got a request accepted Uber right? I would think that it would not be that rare that you would get requests at the same time running both apps, I only drive for Uber so I don't know if this be worth it for me. I can hit no thanks or ignore something on my own without paying for the app

    • @nikushim6665
      @nikushim6665 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      From a programming perspective this would be really easy to fix. However both Lyft and uber have been changing their API's to counter this type of thing. Really some of these features should be built into both rideshares anyways. (even if for safety reasons, such as no pickup/drop offs in high crime areas)

    Thanks for the video. Can you use this app for Uber alone to make for hands-free operation? Or does it require using both?

    • @MusicCityDriver

      Yes, you can use it with only one app to automate it. Sorry for the late reply!

    But it still affects your acceptance rate right?

  • @scotttucker2557

    I have used mystro before the problem with them is it dont prioritize surge if 2 rides come in at the same time from uber and lyft and we are all doing this to make more money for that reason I stopped using it mystro was costing me money

  • @cutlass403
    @cutlass403 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi Music City Driver. So is Mystro worth it? Can you make more money with Mystro vs just using Uber or Lyft? Thanks for your advice and video.

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Real Tuff Mystro can help you maximize your driving, especially if you are looking for surges. In addition, it keeps you from still being logged into the other app while on a drive in case you forget to turn the other app off.

    So when you set up to ignore uber x under 2.0 surge, that affects your acceptance rate right?

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      jaramos77 Yes. It will affect your acceptance rating, but Uber can't deactivate for that.

      Music City Driver @1:58 if you get a ping from both. Ur primary will hit first. Ala if uber is ur primary. You will get the uber hit instead of the lyft hit.

    • @MusicCityDriver

    Don't your acceptance rating go down if you ignore the request? Also, does the acceptance rating go back to 100% after a week or so? Anyway, great video.

    • @anticwar
      @anticwar 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Music City Driver then what's the point about using Mystro? Isn't Mystro canceling the rides you don't want?

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hallowed Be Thy Name No. It filters out rides before you accept them. Acceptance rate is completely different from cancellation rate.

    Hi.. .I can't find that a Samsung Gallaxy III phone will work with Mystro? Or does it have to be a Motorola Droid phone? Help!!! Thanks!

    • @MusicCityDriver

      It's the OS, not the phone. You have to be running at least Android 7.0. Not sure if that phone supports that OS version.

    I watched a video the other day and this guy was not going to take a ride under a 3.0 surge.. he past on like 10 rides before he got one. So his acceptance rate must be terrible..

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      IMO, 3.0 surge is pretty unrealistic on a regular basis. Near event ending, yes. Mystro will affect acceptance rates, but Uber can't deactivate for acceptance rates any more.

    • @driversteve9345
      @driversteve9345 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've heard from a Lyft rep that you can get deactivated for low acceptance ratings. So be careful!

    what is surge? boost

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply. Surge is Uber's dynamic pricing, which is dependent on demand. Boost is a "surge" that Uber subsidizes to lure more drivers to drive in certain areas. In an actual surge the customer pays more for a ride. With boost, Uber pays the "surge" amount even when it isn't surging. If the surge exceeds to boost, you get the higher of the two.

  • @mikewilson6512
    @mikewilson6512 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    BTW how do you not get deactivated not accepting those rides? You turned down a VIP ALSO? Come on man....DRIVE!

    • @MusicCityDriver
      @MusicCityDriver  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike Wilson I do drive. A lot. Uber can't deactivate you for acceptance rates. And VIP rides are usually not the greatest in my experience. How many rides have you done, and in what time period?
