She did it to ensure her daughter won't be turned and offered herself instead. All because the priest, a fake one as he used Devil Forgemaster power, is affiliated with Bathory who demanded his loved one be given to her as a thrall.

I might be desperate here but I think it could be possible they could find a way to turn her back to normal, Tera is very important in the games and I don’t think they would waste her character here
‘Lisa, I’m killing my boy’ was so heartbreaking because he died pretty much the day she did and that’s the first true emotion he showed. I also have to add Lisa burning at the stake. She was not as concerned about herself as she was how Dracula would react!
Same because at least the man that created the animated Castlevania, would give berserk it’s due respect of adaptation. Gratitude I feel like they’ll be some things would be left out like the last children arc sadly.
Tera’s turning broke me so much. She sacrificed herself to save her daughter. To see her fight that urge and then to devour the blood and Bathory smirking on….. it broke me so bad. Tera was the mother to every one of those kids and now she’s turned to something that possibly Maria and Richter and Annette have to kill …. Smh to me that’s the most brutal scene I’ve ever seen in the Castlevania universe tbh
I loved when the demon said "Your god is not here." simply because it showed that not every church was sanctified by god and the churches holy defenses were largely based off the purity of it's priest...and that priest was TRASHHH.
Demon or a Vampire. But yes, Death is a Being that drinks the Souls of the Departed! This version of Death is a Monster, and a violation of the Natural Order.
It is an elemental of the concept of death. Like in a fiction where you might see a fire, water or nature elemental that would be born of magic of those things, Death is for the element of death. And while there could be the idea of death not necessarily being inherently evil, the elemental has become perverse to its nature. He became gluttonous, and disdainful of life itself. He might have reflected all of thr vampires and similar beings who perverted the natural order with undeath and hatred.
His voice actor reveals that he’s a concentrating actor as he frequently speaks of developing and being drawn to dualism in his characters and creates "character diaries" with entire biographies for the characters he plays. Also, he’s known for playing Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit series
Watching Sypha show how powerful and versatile magic is in that scene really lead the way for magic in the rest of the series. Reconfigure Ice Wall into an Ice Guillotine? Cause why not?
For number 8, I would have liked it if someone had told Richter "When the girl awakens, tell her this was her mother's choice. She did as any mother would do for their child. And that it will never be anyone's fault. Have peace in knowing this."
#1. Most brutal moment: They turned Olrox from looking like Nosferatu and Nomak to Milli Vanilli. #2. It took Alucard 15 seconds to outshine Richter's entire 8 episodes.
I still enjoyed Nocturne but I can’t help but think this comment is funny. For Olrox, even my dad thought he looked like Milli Vanilli, which me and my older sister could see it too. As for Alucard, I got hyped. My reaction was how people reacted to Steve when he was going to be a playable character in Smash Ultimate
Its 100 percent the most messed up part of the entire series. Love how everyone is frozen in fear except Trevor whos just smashing away at that barrier to kill it
Surprised that whole Lindenfeld disaster is not on this list. A town decimated with a night creature pulling beings (with the end goal of Dracula) from hell was certainly no walk in the park. I know it is not a 'moment' exactly, but the whole start of the ritual with the sacrifice of innocents who likely used to once pray at that priory? Yea.
Likely will happen, but the when is the question. I know they aren't doing a play-by-play of the Castlevania games, but they seem to aim for key pieces and that means they'd need a return of Dracula in some way as he and Alucard are 'constants and opposites'. You know, if the names are not enough of a giveaway. I predict they will do somewhat of an inverse in Nocturne that they did with the first series. Where the first two seasons have the vampire messiah as the big-bad, and then (if it happens) three and four would be around Dracula as the threat or building to it. Would be almost a bit surprised (not completely as it is Netflix) if Dracula makes no meaningful appearance...or one at all. Thankfully, by making Annette an actual character with depth, they have more possibilities on the roles she can play and the directions the main 'crew' can go.
@@ryanbennett2806well you said it it's netflix...don't think dracula is gonna return at all his story is done they are focusing on building erzebeth now
The 1st episode that started it all in Castlevania was the one to me was the most brutal. Lisa Tepes being falsely accused of being a witch by the Mad Bishop and later being burned at the stake. Even when she’s in a raging inferno she begs Dracula to the very end not to harm the humans and I was just in tears at the end of it.
Im sorry but that final battle between Death and Belmont is just amazing.. and hes not up against weak mortals , the music the animations... its ALL spot on.

It's not just brutal it's somewhat gut wreching to hear her moans in while she's drinking Erzsebet's blood. It gave me chills and ngl part of me kinda found it hot at the same time. The scene was too much. I hope Netflix puts out the next season soon.
If going by the most epic action scenes, my choices would go towards (in no particular order): 1) Trevor, Sypha and Alucard assaulting Dracula's castle while Bloody Tears is playing, followed by their epic fight with him; 2) Isaac vs the mind-controlling magician and his army of zombies; 3) Trevor, Sypha and St Germain facing the hell creatures in the church basement; 4) Trevor, Sypha and Alucard reunited in the last season for the fight against Death and his minions; 5) Richter and team infiltrating the church dungeon while Eduard is singing. But if going purely by brutality and gore, in addition to the ones mentioned in the video, I'd add Isaac fighting the bandits in the desert oasis, Dracula unleashing night creatures to slaughter humanity as revenge for what they did to Lisa, and perhaps if we include the non-action moments, then Lenore's cunning and unexpected deception of Hector.

If I had to be honest, even I have to admit Orlox was the most interesting, considering the fact that he’s an anti-villain. He’s still evil but he doesn’t go to Bathory’s extremes

I'm not sure if I would call Dracula's death brutal, but it is tragic. On the bright side, he rejoins his beloved Lisa. I did find Alucard's near death pretty heartbreaking since it was a trust absolutely destroyed quicker than it was built. Death's death is very satisfying. Please change the thumbnail of this video. Spoilers for a show like this are really bad.
Why would use a thumbnail that spoils part of the most current series that's barely 2 days old? I got 2 episodes in and still got spoiled. Thanks, guys...
I have hated that a lot. I got so pissed at these people that I have hit the "do not recommend this channel" for a dozen" TH-camrs posting for views by spoilers.
WatchMojo got to be kept because I already subscribed.
