Watching these videos for the last few years, the one thing that never ceases to amaze me is how involved and invested the performers are in the show... I mean they know EVERY beat of that show and WHY what bits are where and the meaning behind them. That is not their designers show or the staffs show... that is THEIR show and nobody else's. Also, listening to them talking about the past and the future, it is clear to me that the members KNOW and CHERISH the history of the Blue Devils organisation and are proud to usher in their future!
Uhh... first corps to figure out they live and die by their hornline was Carolina Crown....winning the first and ONLY perfect score under the brass caption in 2013...
BD was living and dying by the hornline before anyone in 2013 Crown was born. We have more brass titles than anyone....you guys have to chase us, every year.

No such thing as a perfect score. Crown achieved the maximum score in 2013. Your fellow Crown fans taught me that in 2012.
