You guys do realize that gear town misses it's timing when destroyed by catapult...so the only special summon you would get is from catapult..

misthm4 But what about resolving Geartown in its own chain or before all other effects?
Geartown’s destruction effect would SS Hunting Hound, then Catapult would SS Wyvern from the Deck, and Wyvern’s effect would start a different chain.
Mage of Ancients yeah I believed that too but since it states "when this card ...." it has to be the final action being resolved. I thought gustos were awesome until they missed timing when synchro summoning... still you can do a lot of fun things with this deck. Also one note...you can use the crooked cook combo with geartown only if you have no other monsters on the field since monsters hitting the grave would miss timing unlike spells and traps. So summoner monk a cook and blow up your geartown :D your combos are pretty sweet though! Keep it up! I wanna learn more about this deck!
I haven't really explained it very well lol. the text on catapult is the key it says " and if you do" which PSCT states is considers as happening simultaneously so in this instance the both effects activate because gear town is not being interrupted.
Combo I found to work well is 1 geartown 1 catapult: ok catapult pops geartown special summon wyvern get box and gadget to hand summon hound off catapult fusion chaos ancient gear giant quick easy and if pulled off usually a game finisher depending upon opposition cards and the dreaded negates lol
Nice combos man, my favorite combo is where you use catapult on gear town and to special a wyvern and a hunting hound, wyvern searches for gear box which of course searches out gadget, allowing you to have enough fusion fodder to fusion summon ancient gear chaos giant using hunting hounds effect, its a very nice first turn combo
Also power bond does work with ancient gear chaos giant maybe your getting it messed up with limiter removal
Thank you! That's certainly a good combo, too. I decided to take that a step further by taking in the idea that you already have a Geartown, Catapult and Hound already on hand.
And it does? I might have to look it up again.
No problem, on ygopro power bond works with ancient gear chaos giant , so that probably the proper ruling
leobrodow That's where I went about an hour ago! If it works on YGOPro, then I suppose that ruling is legal after all.

A much better combo instead of the first one you showed would be to pop gear town with catapult and bring two reactor dragons out, then if you have a terraforming or another geartown in hand use them before going into battle phase and pop them with the dragons effect bringing out whatever you'd need for said situation, but during main phase two xyz summon using your reactor dragons a true king of all calamities . and only use all calamities effect at the standby phase of your opponents turn to stop any of their on summon effects for monsters and any once per turn effects for them too.also stops them from attacking as well
SporadicMajic I see that. That combo I showed at the beginning was only to start with the most Ancient Gear combos, then show more complex combos throughout.
Lucky for me, I have a True King of All Calamities stashed away.

I don’t understand why everyone says that you can’t summon CAGG with power bond. YOU CAN IDJUTS! And it is completely overpowered, but soooooo satisfying and fun to pull off. Oh you have a 9000 ATK point monster that’s completely immune to spell/traps and monster effects during the battle phase. GET WRECKED!! You could also do a very spicy play and summon two Ancient Gear Engineers and then use them to go into Nova then INFINITY!! Cyber Dragon Infinity and Chaos Ancient Gear Giant together is almost unbreakable.

1. Yes you CAN PB Chaos Ancient Gear Giant.
2. You Didnt Showcase That Ancient Gear Gadget + Machine Dupe (If Resolved) is Automatically Game.
3. While AG's dont need links, They effectively make Missus Radiant serve 3 functions in the deck, (1) the 500atk buff (2) recycling (3) resets AGB at all times.
4. Best 1st turn combo they can make doesnt require catapult.
Hey there, what is the answer to #4? Making "True King of All Calamities" with Ancient Gear Reactor Dragons one way or another (i.e. them popping Geartown & Fortress)? Sorry, just having some trouble picturing an amazing set-up play without "Ancient Gear Catapult." Cool if ya outline out the process for me?
u can actually fusion summon chaos ancient gear giant giant because power bond was before the summon of giant. ;)

id like to point out since a lot of people didn't notice =_0 ancient gear knight is searchable by box as well having 500 defense ^_^ and also fusion recycling plant is really good in this deck with 1 polymerization
DJ halla True! Although I think people prefer to run Gadget over Knight so that they can choose to lockdown whatever kind of opponent's card effects they want.
Fusion Recycling Plant: haven't tried it, but I don't see why not.
knight and gadget more search and fusion materials =D because fusion recycling brings box back to the hand you need more targets for the fusions next turn
Nice combos you can put in the deck the predaplant engine and go for breaksword to destroy your field spell and destroy one other card on the field.If terrotop was at 3 you could go for ancient fairy dragon destroy the field spell and gain lp
Astral Phoenix Funny you should mention Speedroids. I began looking over my bulk to see what Decks I can build from them. I can try making a Speedroid Deck; just not with Terrortop to help out. lol
you need to know, power bond effect is apliied to chaos ancient gear gigant, becuase is before the summon, and, if you whant to use ultimate pound is more better with hydra
If your lucky enough you can use limiter removal on your power bonded monster for an instant otk

Thought you couldn't play a 2nd field spell in the same turn in yugioh . Correct me if i'm wrong
TheWatkid3 You can play as many Field Spells as you want in one turn. If you play one on top of another, though, the new one replaces the first.

TheWatkid3 Not to mention Geartown’s Special Summon effect has no “Once per turn” condition.
Mage of Ancients omg super broken wtf so getting this deck and upgrading it . Got back in to yugioh when I saw the new structure decks out now .I got in to yugioh when the Yugi structure deck was sold. Someone showed me how to play after I showed him how to play magic the gathering. It just took to long to play on lunch break. so we played yugioh super fast game .
TheWatkid3 I like the game! I think you will like all the cool ways you can Summon Monsters nowadays!
btw, there’s also the Dinosmasher’s Fury Structure Deck if you want to play something more meta. Not to say that Ancient Gears are bad, but the support that Dinosaurs have been getting this past year is incredible.
power bond does work with ancient gear chaos giant.
It applies with the summon so it can't really get uneffected same thing with howitzer
Morgski All this time, I thought Power Bond didn't work that way for Giant. I believe it now.
Its ridiculously overpowered however If your opponent has set cards its better to special summon reactor or golem to bait the strikes out
Morgski Solemn Strike can't negate power bond. It may negate inherent summons onluy like cyber dragon, xyz, synchro, and now links.
I think Morgski is talking about Special Summoning off of Catapult/Geartown.
