First of all we thank you for the video . It is the quickest way for someone to see how we do it . Secondly i have a couple of questions in good will : 1. Should we first have warmed the engine for a while and for how long ? 2. Should we first unscrew the frame's bolt and then the lower bolt of the engine ? How we make sure we have drained 2 lt of used oil so as to add 2lt of new ?
1. 5-10 minutes is enough 2. first the lower nut and second frame nut (as per video). You can measure the quantity of the drained oil, but fro 100 % sure will not be 2 l, because a small quantity will remain inside of the frame, and other quantity was consumed during the exploitation of the engine.
what is the purpose of that filter ? is it the one , like a barrel in the left side next to the air filter's box ? New owner writing , just a few days ago i was given the bike without manual and explanations
@@maximbruh2662 it's a brass screener just to stop larger sized particles. there is also one in the clutch compartment. i decided to check both this winter and it turned out they were both in perfect shape - nothing to clean. maybe it is just coincidence, but maybe you don't need to worry about those.
thanks for the information. and how much to pour oil? just on a cold engine to the mark? or warm up first and then pour? I already read the answer below, thank you .. but how to correctly determine the stretch of the chain and its pulling up?
Nice one, thx. This plus the spark plug and air filter this weekend and I'm off!!
