- Venom just got a huge buff, so I had to try him out in this crazy Nimrod Galactus deck. He definitely had some big moments, but I think he's still more likely to be viable in a more straightforward destroy package.

Power Estimate: This deck felt really finnicky to me. It has a lot of different lines it can take to victory, which can be surprising, but can also be inconsistent when it misses on clean curves or cross-card synergies. I had just under a 50% winrate, but its original pilot had far more success, so your results may vary depending on your pocket meta, rank, or playstyle.

I love destruction gameplay, It's my favorite style of gameplay but there are TOO many counters to it that it is so frustrating to play most of the times. Much love from Portugal Regis ❤

You know, it's funny, I've basically been playing this deck for ages just... Without Galactus or Destroyer, because I don't have them. It's almost all in on the Shuri->Nimrod, Eat him twice on the last turn to spread stats everywhere plan. Er, well, and no Iron Lad, obviously.
Which has also meant that I've had some moments where Regis's thought process has bemused me, as he gets hung up on decision points that feel obvious to me because they're the ones I'm always working with rather than ones that come up rarely. It's sort of interesting how familiarity can shape things likethat.
A similar deck got me to the 70s last season, but i think people are expecting it these days, started getting auto retreats any time nimrod came down

Discard has been my favorite play style for a while, but this video and the venom buff really makes me wanna give destroy another shot! Looks really fun to play
Yep, I gave it a shot and found that it’s too predictable. Cosmo and armor are back in decks after the recent changes. They just slap an armor or cosmo down and game over. Literally.

That first game. Destroyer does amazing things against leader and morph.
This is my favorite/most successful climbing deck. Can be built slightly cheaper by swapping out Iron Lad and forge for Green and Hobgoblin. Also gives the deck the ability to counter other Galactus decks and preserves more points on the board if you need to go for the destroyer play

Nimrod on 5 (makes him 20 power)
Then destroyer on 6, which triggers 2 times because of Wong and you get a ton of 20 power nimrods.

I did a shuri into nimrod ramped early with electro and my opponent threw an armor on it expecting a venom and snapped. Turn 6 Big G for the win.

So many rollercoaster turn 6s lol.
I noticed Iceman back in decks again to interrupt all of the combos stuff going on; Sera decks, Electrowave…. He basically replaced Sandman, and sandman is why Iceman became irrelevant for a while. This deck would have done during well the Sandman meta. In fact, this would have had a high win rate.
