the most toxic thing is that opponent keeps thinking that when you play galactus there its some sort of last measure to get a draw and not lose cubes

for real whats with the destroy locations
They should dial back featured locations, and dial down all those anti-play and deck disruption locations. This patch seems full of them.
It also seems like a location you got in the last game is more likely to reappear in the next. I thought it was my own impression but ive seen YTers getting surprised by it too
The complaint I've seen that is valid is that they all favor the destroy package.
@@RedMinion5051 well, the destroy package is not really a strong deck (except the one with galactus ofc) so even with that many destroy locations it is still not the best.

@@thire10 I like featured locations but this one solidified my opinion that they shouldn't last longer than a day. I'm always sick of them by the end of day 2.

Honestly I feel kinda sick of all of these new locations that destroy your stuff. It just isn't always fun to have armor (Which completely counters them) and cards like electro who are so broken with them.

40:30. He played 4-cost Hulk, Death or Magneto. They are the only cards that have 12 base power
It's simple, Knull's power raises even from flipped down cards. Given he had 11 and became 34 after left location was destroyed. It had to be one of those 3 as a 4-cost from Wave. My deductions say, it's most probably Death because opponent is running a destruction deck; technically no one uses Hulk at that rank and Magneto would be uselessly played unless he just did it for power one upping you, but highly unlikely because it's a destruction deck. 35 comes from the Bucky Barnes you played in mid

ive played a similar list (daredevil has been great to avoid aeros, and unironically playing adam warlock to add consistency bc the deck often will stack one lane) and this featured location feels like you can actually win with the t6 galactus. fun times...

If you put in enchantress you can enchantress > colossus if you don’t have prio to remove any ongoing they have

I've been winning it/contesting it last turn with Squirrel Girl/Mysterio or Wasp in my (tbh subpar) patriot deck.
only shrek and donkey can survive the rickety bridge
Why would it infinite loop? The wolverines would get destroyed, then resummoned.

I’ve noticed you don’t use any variants or splits in your decks and was wondering if there’s any specific reason as to why?
I think it just helps readability on TH-cam. I'm not sure I'll always do it, but basically I think it makes for an easier viewer experience because you reduce the amount of information people have to process by a bit. I know a lot of folks are like me and the base arts are second-nature, while sometimes I have to look for a second to figure out what a variant is, even with the logos, because the logos can be small.

Win connditions. So u can rickety bridge the armor wolverine bucky. I guess you could claw or Mr fantastic in middle to boost score. And i think professorx? Those the only win conditions. And enchantress can get a tie against colossus. But I'm surprised I didn't see anyone play scarlet witch. And change the location out right.
In game 1 you should play mr fantastic to play around rogue a little. It’s niche but it was better play than Shang chi
Sadly it seems almost mandatory to also have Knull in Galactus decks >< You lose a lot of power if you don't have him.

What if both players play Wolverine on Rickety Bridge after Galactus?
18:08 I disagree about Wolverine. He shows up so rarely, it’s either Deathwave or Galactus. I snagged a few wins off Galactus decks by reading Wolverine and countering Spider-Man or Prof X. As soon as I see Wolverine and don’t see Carnage/ Deathlock or do see Electro, it is 100% Galactus.

I despise rickety bridge, I wish hot locations were limited to a casual game mode and we got a competitive game mode without them
I’ve had galactus in my shop for a few weeks and I currently have 5400 tokens. Can’t wait to buy him and try this after 2024
Seriously why does it take so long to get tokens. Getting credits from a reserve feels awful since you get 300 but it takes 600 between reserves.
Also boosters are worthless since you get them for playing the game. Just because I have 302/50 Yondu boosters doesn’t mean I want more.

It becames faster when you are tier 3 complete, every time you are expected to get a card you'll get 200-600 tokens (IIRC)
DON'T! Go beyond the Rickety Bridge.
The locations are becoming more toxic and gimmicky IMO. The game is becoming less about actual skill and deckbuilding; but more about card randomness and weird locations.
It always was, but the increased chances on featured locations and the hot locations exacerbate the problem.

you completely lost the opportunity to see what happens with mirror dimension if you destroy the other locations with galactus. So sad 😢
they really have to take it a notch down with the locations, it's getting out of hand.
Hopefully they keep this bs on unranked mode and leave the ranked mode without featured locations.

I like to watch these and pretend I have the slightest clue what's going on. No matter how many times people explain the rules, this game remains a mystery to me.
white moves first and if you make it to the other side of the board, they have to king you. you gain one energy each turn the game continues. after the fourth down, possession passes to the opponent. typically, the winner is the team that scores the most points, but sometimes, it isn't.
