My two cents to this review is, and it goes to most reviews out there as well, that they always criticize 17 inch wheels. It's true that it does not look as stylish or as attractive as the 19's. But I think that it should always be worth mentioning that 17 inch wheels will always provide a more comfortable ride quality. That would give the viewers something to think about in making a choice. Personally, I wouldn't compromise ride quality over better looking wheels. That said, I'd rather get a base trim and add options.
@Lou I think it’s reliable. I have a 2009 with 234,000 miles and it’s still kicking. My dad has a 2012 and he has no problems with his. Only thing I would say about the 300 is is that if someone buys a 2005-2010 300, avoid the 2.7 V6. It’s a awful engine and fails prematurely. Those 2.7 V6s were in a bunch of Dodge and Chrysler cars
The 19-inch wheels don’t have a Poor ride, low-profile tires have the poor ride characteristics, a big sidewall to the Tires provide a comfortable ride.
I own one of these. It's an incredible car. For a v6, it has a lot of power. For those of you who think they suck in the snow, you just can't drive lol. When placed next to a Cadillac or Lincoln, the 300 blows them out of the water. Bottom line, I chose those over a BMW 328i.
300 Limited owner here.... You are absolutely right. If you can't handle this beauty in the snow, you're just a bad snow driver. It's an instant classic in my book.
It’s everything I ever wanted in a Chrysler sedan. Thank you for this review! Just makes me love my 300 even more! ❤️👍🏽 It’s the best bang for the buck, luxury muscle at an affordable price and much more!
Why have they not done an updated review on this car!! It's been 5 years and with the new changes in the current models it's probably one of the most underestimated luxury sedans on the market.
My mom had a pt cruiser and we beat that up it lasted us like almost 10 years then we sold it. Now I have the 2013 Chrysler 300 i hope this last like my other
Best full size sedan out imo. It's rwd, great looking, plenty of power and decently priced. Chrysler, Dodge, jeep are making great cars now days the Japanese are getting behind in alot of places.
In the UK these are good value too. Used you can get an executive model (top of the range) for £21,000 now (£40,000 new, also good value) and it's not really lacking much compared to the German competition. There's even a brand new 2013 Executive on Autotrader for £30,000. Awesome! I just wish the SRT was available.
Not with today's modern traction control systems. Years ago my daily driver was a 1993 Lincoln Town Car (Big old rear wheel drive with a V8). That car had traction control and was a beast in the snow. Smaller/lighter rear wheel drive cars can have issues (even if they have traction control). These larger (heavier) rear wheel drive vehicles today with traction control are pretty good in winter driving. The heavier the better, the lighter rear wheel cars tend to slide around more.
Dude. You do the best reviews on the internet. That's why I've subscribed and view your reviews all the time. I agree this is a really nice car and I want you to know that you can get the 300C with the 3.6 Penestar V6 or the 5.6 V8 option. I have a Durango with the 3.6 and it's been as reliable as an anvil. One thing I've noticed though. There is no s at the end of the word anyway.
Back in late '04 when these had just come out my grandmother was looking for a new car because her 1 year old '03 Nissan Maxima GLE was totaled in a flood. When we looked at the 300 both my grandmother and myself thought it was one of the ugliest looking cars and she didn't like the way it drove. My grandfather loved it. She won out because my grandfather told her to get what she wanted. She had owned an Audi in the '80s and loved it. So she bought an '04 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro sedan and loves it!
I own a 2016 300S V6. Now it is just over 10K miles and I feel now it is more refined after the break in period. I don't regret not buying the V8. Surprisingly the V6 300 is faster than my Mazdaspeed 3 turbo hatch. Definitely recommend buying one of these 300s because of the value for the buck. FCA improved quality and attention to detain around 2016 so if you like rwd sedans w style and character, the 300S or 300C is great
Yeah and it's an even better deal buying a one year old example. Right now a 2012 or 2013 with the V6 motor is going for about $21k at a Chrysler dealership. I'd buy one used and buy an extended warranty, let the first owner pay the depreciation and extra fees.
I too was impressed by how quiet this car is, but it has absolutely no steering feel, a suspension that wallows about, and a touch screen infotainment system. Why make it so hard to change the temperature or turn on a seat heater? Buttons work so much better and they're safer, more reliable, and cheaper too!
If you are considering this car, gotta go for the Hemi. Gas mileage isn’t the greatest, but then you get the muscle car sound and power with next to German level luxury on the inside
Gotta say I like it, especially the interior it looks simple and nice and has a sleek looking wood trim, a lot of Time manufacturers try to add to much of a modern interior and make it look ugly.
I picked out one in November, 2013 with 3200 miles i love my car traded a 2008 CTS-4 i miss it but i really like this car don,t need bigger rims because i'm good with what i brought for the size also it has a split rear seat and auto start also the ride is just great the 2016 model changed the front Grill to a wanna be after market Grill with the mesh in front i t looks better with the silver chrome like grill i'm just saying.NiCEEEE Car.
Basically I like the 300. Basically I will be getting one soon. And basically I really like your reviews. Basically Im not hatting just basically saying basically...
That's exactly right nobody has ever bought one of these without the cognitive "driver" "People will think I have more money than I really do" well done for catching on mate good work.
HI there , well now it's a while back , what would you say different to day ?? Do you like them as much ? Or would you choose the V8 ? Thank's great as always >>>>
i agree with review fast attractive soft touch now the cons: when renting i drove very slow witb it and the front is very! low i tore the engine cover off the bottom and visibily sucked
Test drove one with a V6 today. Seems pretty darn nice
I just bought my 300S last week, it drives amazing!
Johnny Corona: Even the base model you can luxury features. No need to step up to a expensive higher trim.

Agree

Its a heavy car and rides so much better with high tire walls. Really absorbs those crappy potholes.
Smaller the wheel better the ride bigger the wheel better the looks. Handling is determined by sidewall height and tire quality.
I just bought one. First impression, it is extremely comfortable, smooth, and quiet!
This Sept bought 2013 300c. IMHO an elegant, practical car that fits me perfectly.-51 yr. old guy- great ride and nice simple U-Connect interface.

It's an instant classic in my book.
I own the RWD. The same exact car that was used in this video. Same color and all.
300 would be closer in class to 528i...and no the 300 doesn't touch a base bmw
Nico Blanchard ow yes it doz I had a 530i the 300c eats it for fun you need to drive both cars before you talk shit
Mark Burston booyuustooop
I drive a 2018 300S V8. Absolutely brute of a cruiser and it can haul ass. Love driving it everyday.
I have the 2014 and LOVE IT. You cant go wrong with this car.
ZF's 8 speed is always perfection whenever put into a vehicle.
I just bought a 2013 and I LOVE it...and I have the backup cam, so Idk what he talkn about 🤔 and it's base
Perhaps it was optional. How much did you pay for it?
Right cause I have a 2014 base no camera
Probably he payed extra to get it
Yea i don't get it either because i have a 2013 300 Base and it has both a backup camera & gps navigation
I sat in one of these as a rental. It's small in the back but it's VERY comfortable. I'm not exaggerating.
The 8 speed is incredible and the interior has come a along way from the early the beginning generation of the 300c. Good deal!
ZF's 8-speed is the best 8-speed in the business~~ Can't go wrong with any car that has it
I own the 2013 300c 3.6VVT. Only difference mine does have navigation and back-up camera. What a great car. And yes it can pull...
My Motown edition has black wood trim, looks great. Had this car for a year, most fun to drive car I've had that has luxury, for a decent price.
Wow. you reviewed a Chrysler product and didn't have anything bad to say. I am amazed.
Very educational video thanks for sharing! Purchased one a big upgrade from my 04 Impala
I went from an 04 impala to an 06 300. Now I looking at a 2014 300
It’s everything I ever wanted in a Chrysler sedan. Thank you for this review! Just makes me love my 300 even more! ❤️👍🏽 It’s the best bang for the buck, luxury muscle at an affordable price and much more!
Not really muscle considering v6 camry or accord will destoy it in straight line performance
Calling it a luxury car is definitely a stretch. More of a premium vehicle
Why have they not done an updated review on this car!! It's been 5 years and with the new changes in the current models it's probably one of the most underestimated luxury sedans on the market.
I like this car.
marc1093280 8”
Thats heisenbergs car
Hell yeah!!

I think the back seats are roomy on the chrysler 300
I have the 2016 300c platinum Edition and I love it! By far my favorite car other than a Bentley
Great review,i just buy me a 2013 with rear view camera and beats audio, car is amazing
My mom had a pt cruiser and we beat that up it lasted us like almost 10 years then we sold it. Now I have the 2013 Chrysler 300 i hope this last like my other
Great honest review. Thanks! Now we go buy one... yes, in 2020.
I picked out one 2014 300c varvatos 3,6 I really happy. Car very good.
Best full size sedan out imo. It's rwd, great looking, plenty of power and decently priced. Chrysler, Dodge, jeep are making great cars now days the Japanese are getting behind in alot of places.
The Chrysler 300s are the best and great for the next one

Is that the Jazz blue pearl paint

The Taurus has the huggest trunk in the class but, that 8 speed is a HUGE improvement :)
This is the only trim I would buy then put 20inch wheels on it.

The cool blue gauge lighting doesn't look good with the wood trim
AWD base models came standard with 19" wheels, FYI. Back up cam is optional on the base models. I believe it became standard on 2014s.
can you review a 2017 Chrysler 300s awd? Please?!
that engine sounded kinda...nice lol
I love this car

Have a 2012 base model and I love it. Used to drive a 2006 5.7 hemi 300c and even though it’s not as powerful it’s just overall a better ride
I too was impressed by how quiet this car is, but it has absolutely no steering feel, a suspension that wallows about, and a touch screen infotainment system. The engine sounds really nice!
How does this car compare with Cadillac CTS ?? If one likes a big smooth car . Thank you
This is just a truly amazing car. I can't wait till they come out with the V8 8 speed
Redline reviews are the best car in the world #1
I love that 300
Man you covered everything great video
These American full sized cars always look so huge from the outside but tiny..was not expecting that little bit of rear seat legroom
I have a 300c Hemi 5.7 I really love my car 111,450 mile
Anyone who is considering this car should look at the V8 Hemi version. The sound alone is absolutely delicious 😈
buba426 agreed, just picked up a 2012 300c AWD with the Hemi and OH MY GOD I feel like I’m king of the road when I put my foot down.
Gotta say I like it, especially the interior it looks simple and nice and has a sleek looking wood trim, a lot of Time manufacturers try to add to much of a modern interior and make it look ugly.
Does anyone recommend this as a first car!? And for reliability?
Basethagod i guess if good mainted it will last at least to 200xxx miles
As long as it’s not a 2.7.
@@atx-cvpi_99 They killed off the 2.7 if your talking about this gen.

Are they reliable?
i own thos car, perfect review. love my 300
I bought this car a few months ago and it only had 82k (50k miles) on it for 16k AU, literally the best car iv ever owned
You get a back up cam on the limited model which is the 2nd lowest
I have to admit, I'm blown away. I just wish the wood was a darker trim
American Rolls-Royce
Basically I like the 300. Basically I will be getting one soon. And basically I really like your reviews. Basically Im not hatting just basically saying basically...
I would like to see you review the 2016 300s with the Hemi V8!
breaking bad made me come here :)
My 2013 300c 5.7L has the Garmin GPS w/ the heated & cooled cup holders
That's exactly right nobody has ever bought one of these without the cognitive "driver" "People will think I have more money than I really do" well done for catching on mate good work.
Wow, that's a BIG improvement :o)
Cool ride
This would be in my price range in a few years, and I have always wanted a 300... how would this fare as a first car?
Adam Douglas great first car! Powerful too bro!!
I like ur review so much , Can you review 350z or eclipse gt please :)
Based on a Mercedes, looks like a Bentley, body like a rolls Royce!
Its has a analogue clock, which is a prerequisite in luxury cars.
Thank you Chrysler for the 8 speed auto :)
HI there , well now it's a while back , what would you say different to day ?? Do you like them as much ? Or would you choose the V8 ? Thank's great as always >>>>
There are hard buttons as well as knobs for the climate and heated seat controls. The screen controls are just redundant.
Great review , thank´s
Why does the camera rattle so much ? does it have to ?
You should use turn signals.
It kinda looks like a rolls Royce
What kind of username is this
Delmost White 😂😂
@@delmostwhite8746 a creative one

i agree with review fast attractive soft touch now the cons: when renting i drove very slow witb it and the front is very! low i tore the engine cover off the bottom and visibily sucked
This interior is better quality than the old one? J=How bad was the last one? Like a 1970s Lada?
very impressed with vehicle, although I probably would take an avalon over this but great job chrysler
Is rear wheel drive really bad in snow
Thanks..great review. If you had a choice between the Chrysler 300 or the Hyundai Genesis, which one would you choose and why?
Chrysler. Hundai not the same panache although very good,
Genesis
The genesis especially the 2015 model
+deosanvideo
300 SRT8 hands down
I would love for you to do a review on the 2019 300 S Sofyan.
aha a Chrysler 300 review and Heisenberg references in the comments - the community doesn't disappoint!
What type of speakers???
And heated seats front and back w/ beats by Dre sound system
my 2012 grand cherokee with the same engine sounds nothing like that! this sounds way better
