Finding out how the aircraft should fly, as opposed to the expectations that I would consider flyable in a sim is invaluable. Thank you for this, and I hope you do more of these with any other aircraft you have a hand in.

Thank you for this video! I'm now even more impressed by your flightmodel and the MSFS physics. TL;DR for impatient people: People expect a well behaved plane. Plane in real life wasn't well behaved. This is accurately simulated according to flight test data. Some minor adjustments to the exact numbers will be done because of CFD sim changes in SU11.

I am getting incredibly inaccurate fuel flow in the DC-3. At 8500 ft, 28 in MAP , 1800 RPM and auto lean I am getting an average fuel flow of 163 USG/hr when it should at most be around 90-110 USG/hr. That's an 80-50% higher than normal fuel flow. Am I doing something wrong or is the fuel burn just really innacurate?

This is my favourite plane of all time...how could it not be? The way you talk about it really ressonantes and connects with people who appreciate this plane...thank you thank you so much for your labour!

Am I the only one who finds the clean drag in the msfs DC3 is way low? I don”t think you should have to pull the power below 20”hg to slow the airplane down. Otherwise it flies like a dream.

It seems literary everyone on YT had enormous trouble keeping the tail from spinning out after touchdown. Is this something that's gonna get tweaked? It might be difficult but I've not seen anybody manage it like in real life.

Its refreshing to see some dedicated devs aiming at accurate fm stuff. And for a "Default Aircraft" its even more apperciated. Makes all those wannabe-DC3-should-fly-mods absolete. Thank you very much for that. Keep up the good work.

Do you have or would you want the reg of the DC-3 you flew from Prestwick to Aldergrove? I`m a Prestwick enthusiast and can try and find out if you need it. Let me know.

Haha, that was an epic unveil; “I did the flight model on it” - completely caught me off guard. I’m glad I said “I didn’t find anything too untoward” then XD

Thank you so much for sharing your insightful vision of this addon. Very useful. I was one of the users that immediately said: it rotates too soon!. Obviously I was wrong. I'm sure that I am not the only one who would appreciate another video explaning how manage the engine and the temperatures and the hydraulic system. It seems deeply simulated and the manual maybe it's not enough clear for the newbies.

Thank you for the great information. Now I know that I just have to learn how to fly a great aircraft. I also flew on DC3,s up till around mid 1962 or so? I was some ware around 11, 12 years old. My father worked for TCA, loved the planes. When I was smaller my father had to help me walk up the step aisle. Good times.
