How has it held up? Thinking of doing this I have two square nose superjet hulls I’m thinking about trying it out on one of them. Sweet build tho I’d like to communicate and get some tips.
Its been killer, rides alot better for the surf the nose is alot higher. As far as durability i havent had anything happen to it yet.. im sure itll happen eventually but shes pretty sturdy
Sweet man, how does it handle on flat water? I mainly do lake rides with wake boat wakes and I’m able to do barrels rolls on my remotely stock super jet but I’m just trying to build something a little more suited for that.
How did u fuel it up and did u use a water box . I really want to do this with my square nose superjet. Even tho I’m scared I never fiberglassed a ski in my life but I want to learn.
Trenton Briones i moved the gas cap on top of the tank inside to fuel. And yes it has an aftermarket waterbox.. this was pretty much my first time doing fiberglass, just do your homework and get the right stuff and youll be fine. Its easier than you think. Just very time consuming
How did you do the try? Did you just shape the original and add glass? And how sturdy is it? I’ve had some ideas of ways to made it more sturdy and was just curious how yours feels.
I gutted all the old foam out because it was old and full of water, then made the shape out of thin sheets of foam and glassed over it then used pour foam to fill the rest of the tray.. its super sturdy but it was by far the hardest part of the build
My build is super similar but I havent relocated the pole yet (my xscream pole hasnt shown up yet). Did you find 6 inches forward was too much orrrrr? I run a -3 pole with OVP on my current hull and am scared relocating forward would be too much
@@jesski thanks for the reply man! My pole comes Monday so I will mock it up then. I'm thinking that because I'm ovp and the pole is a minimum of -3 that I'll just move the bracket 2-4 inches forward. I'm -3.5 off the back of the hull as well
David it is my ski I built it but i got the pole from a parts ski i got and theres no logos on it so im not sure 100% if its the x scream.. you seem like a really great guy, would probably be an even better guy if you got off the internet and went and lost your virginity.
Hi mate I was just wondering I’ve got a square nose and I’m gonna do the same as what you done to yours I like it so much you wouldn’t be able to give me a call Mate I just don’t want to put my phone number up there how can we do it but
Not much more i could tell ya thats not in the video. Just look into how to fiberglass and make sure to use some good epoxy resin. Thin glass sheets are easier to work with just do a couple more layers. Its mostly trial and error just dont be scared and get into it man you’ll learn alot!
Well-done!! This was a legit mod. Doing mine soon
Your an artist man wow !!! Amazing work
Nice work!
really nice build and great video
do you have any video when running it?
Unreal build amazing job
I love the paint splatter in the engine bay. Nice work man!
Sweet build
Can you please make a video of you driving it please?
Yes! I need to but i have the motor torn down for a rebuild at the moment
Oh ok thanks hope to see you jumping it!!
Wicked build need to put a vid of it on the water up 👍
I know i need to i have the motor torn back down right now rebuilding it but i will as soon as i get it up and running again!
@@jesski i would love to see a video of it in the water. i cant be the only one
Sweet jet ski!
Looks awesome man! I have an fx1 I painted over winter but didn't have the balls to cut into it lol. Gonna try it on a 300sx though this winter
Yeah man a 300 would be rad if you chop it and drop a 750 in it! Would make a good freestyle ski
@@jesski yeah that's what I've read. Going to try a 701 though. Not too much info out there on it lol
@@jesski wish there was a video of the ski ripping getting ready to do the build based on ur video
best idea ever with the front end to rocker it
hi
love your video! i just curies what you use for enigen and if you have tested in water?
Yamaha 701. Ridden it a few times havent made the unveiling video yet but its coming! Stay tuned!
That is bad ass man! Doesnt even look like a sn!! I'm curious where does the exhaust exit at since u widen the tray?
Same spot just glassed back over the tray
@@jesski oh ok. Looks good man. Great job
What's it doing now?
Hey mate I was just wondering whether you use glass
Yup fiberglass and epoxy resin
Can you send the full video
Can we see it running and driving
Havent made the time but the review video is coming!
Damn that was sexy, thank you so much!!
What footholds have you got in this, im tempted to start cutting mine up
Ben Ellis just running foot straps, not a fan of footholds in the surf
@@jesski why is that?
Faz um vídeo. Andando nele. E as medidas como ficou. Toptop

Cole Prince 6” was about perfect for me i like it further forward to compensate for cutting so much off the back, it helps it not ride so nose high

Any idea on the weight of the hull? I got a DASA 1100cc with a 158mm pump, I’m planning to drop into something going for a flat water ski
Not sure the exact weight but i can pick it up over my head pretty easy without a motor😂 id guess around 60lbs give or take 20
What pole did U use? Great build 👍🏾
Trenton Briones I believe its the x scream adjustable pole

What engine you got in her?
Tyler Holstege 701 Yamaha
h2oholics have you taken it out? Will it flip? What gas tank you running?
Tyler Holstege just a stock superjet tank.. wont flip flatwater, itll flip in the surf tho.. anything can flip in the surf tho.
