    You are a blessing. Thank you.
    Edit: I just purchased 2 acres of woodland and going to need a driveway approach to be able to park my car to get a chainsaw going :)

      Thanks for watching our video. We really like the galvanized for our climate. It keeps the trailer from rusting after the first winter. And the great thing about trailers...they always keep their resale value.

    What does pulling a permit mean? Does that just mean applying for a permit? What is an approach? Does that mean the transition from public to private land? Like the ditch on the side of the highway, or a county road? I just need to put a culvert in on my property where a small tributary eroded my gravel road away.

      Yes pulling a permit means applying for one. You're spot on, the approach is the transition from road to property (your driveway).

    Nice brief video! Can you mention the benefits of plastic to galvanized, since there are several options for materials. Thx much

    So how deep of gravel underneath and how much backfill over the top?

    • @TerracePropertyMaintenance
      @TerracePropertyMaintenance  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This varies depending on the requirements of the permit. Typically there is 12" cover and 3-4" base below the culvert, but these specs can change.

    What kind of stone did you use? 3/4? What I's the base and the top layer?

    • @TerracePropertyMaintenance
      @TerracePropertyMaintenance  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on the customer, location, budget, etc. We recommend a 2" down limestone if possible. Looks great, and create a very solid base.

    i own a piece of land in the north west part of florida and i was told that the culvert was dug up? WHY would anyone do that?

    • @Emshoot90
      @Emshoot90 ปีที่แล้ว

      County may be responsible for where the culvert was placed.

      Thanks for your question. We live in Canada
      FUN FACT: Only three countries - the U.S., Liberia and Myanmar - still (mostly or officially) stick to the imperial system, which uses distances, weight, height or area measurements that can ultimately be traced back to body parts or everyday items.

    would there need to be any consideration for emergency equipment (fire, EMT) for approach and access?

    • @TerracePropertyMaintenance
      @TerracePropertyMaintenance  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      When applying for a permit there will be min and max size for the approach on your property. Your local RM will dictate the size for you

    This is like parody of how to really install a culvert.
    That tiny level was the best…
