Aurora Time-lapse 1080p Alaska Greg Syverson Video & Photography. Slow moving Auroras shimmers over the frozen Beaufort Sea. This special technic gives us a more accurate representation of the movement. Auroras do move in varying speeds. Most time-lapse videos do not show real-time movement. Our work tries very hard to show more life like action. This display was weak compared to many others we have seen. However it moved very slow. Shooting multiple frames per second allowed a good representation of the movement. Todays new DSLR cameras equipped with new generation CMOS sensor we are able to shoot at very high ISO allowing this type of capture.
