Dude. Thank you so so much for making this video on this particular guitar. I have one on hold that I am buying from Sweetwater within the next few days and have watched many many videos about it. But in this one in particular, you showcase the incredibly insane capabilities throughout all of it's sound combinations, both the clean and the distortion leads are definitely true to what you say, it really seems like a player can do literally anything they want to do and it's sound carries so beautifully across the board. I was already so excited to be getting my hands on one, and after hearing this I am at a whole other level of awe and amazement. Very well done, thanks again!! Jeff, Benson AZ.
What a beautiful guitar...in every way...beautiful playing as well. This how I got to your channel. I am considering selling my 4 guitars (all different styles) and replacing them all with one guitar that can do it all. Thank you for the demo and your thoughts on it.
Thank you so much Scott! I really appreciate it 🙏🏼 a drastic decisions... But if you find the right one it makes everything more easy. What's your options/desires?
@@GisleTorvikOfficial The versatility of this guitar is very attractive and then to look at it....well, it's striking! Humbuckers and single coils, a tremolo and semi hollow. What more could I ask for.
It's an awesome guitar and your playin is excellent. The only thing is the color/finish on the guitar. I would have gone for something else but it's a great axe.
@@GisleTorvikOfficial its the 58/15 LT TCI prolly just my guitar... i broke the Volume pot on mine was trying to do the 50s wiring, i did replace it with PRS Volume pot thats prolly why the bridge PU so bright now...
thanks for bringing this amazing instrument to our notice; when you open a core prs guitar you have just received a new life experience, like a n ew baby in your life; you want to take it to bed with you right; the voice and tone and resonance is just that perfect; i agree with you about the lighter the prs instrument somehow the resonance just goes through the roof
I buy one to but it was s/hand for 5000$ if new 7000$ in Australia yes I know but get lot for money but sell sum guitar off. I did have s2 semi hollow mccarty brust omg beautiful but Special 22 shllw better . My was river blue little fade flame . Not sunburst nice but I'm happy . Lot tone out this guitar . You play like strat switch too 335 middle switch to me it prs mix strat tele 335 with big tome . Now got the paul that amzing too too me fat tele les paul jr with maple cap more bit get some In between tone to humbucker bridge neck single coil funk tone . Now sas narrowfield I got an old 96 sas new one mix too tight fat sounds an have hollow body 2 core s/h that cool guitar big big tone big guitar little body I had sell off my mccarty 😢😢 for new sas but the paul does better job was mccarty . The mccarty is real good . Older version mccarty not new up date one yes I like too need more money for that ah ah 😂
I can see from your TH-cam name that you're kind of like Les Paul ;) if you want a pure Strat, tele or les Paul sound, they are really great/the best, I agree. But this guitar covers so much ground within just one guitar. And when it comes to craftsmanship/ procession I think PRS are way better. (most of the time)
Nice video and playing I have one with a 10 top love all 3 pickups best guitar I ever have owned mine is the McCarty finish with gold hw upgrade
There are so many great things about my Special 22, it’s one of my favorites!
You got PRS! It suits you perfetly. Wonderful sound!!
Thank you so much! Really glad to hear ☺ Yeah been GASing on this for some time ;)

Thank you so much Jeff! Really glad you liked it and found it helpful. So did you pull the trigger?
The opening music is 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
Amazing instrument, of course, but I really enjoyed the playing. Good choice of tones. Nice work!
Thank you so much Gary! 🙏🏼
Most versatile guitar I've ever owned and played. It's absolutely amazing.
I totally agree! It is nothing it can't do.. What color is yours?
@@GisleTorvikOfficial Trampa's green wood library. Swore I'd never buy trampas green lol...got the torrefied maple neck, which feels amazing
Beautiful 🥰 I have a prs modern eagle v wood library on the way.very excited to get to play it 😄 never had such a high end guitar before…

I have a prs 22 custom semi hollow and is an amazing metal guitar!
Great! I haven't tried mine for metal yet, but I'm not having a hard time imagining it is a killer axe for that.
Seems like the ultimate guitar…. Great demo!
Thank you so much‼️🙏🏼
I liked it very much!!
So glad to hear!

Beautiful playing! I’m lucky to own a 10 top one of these in McCarty burst - Swiss Army Knife is a great description 🎸😊👍
Thanks! :) that is maybe the most beautiful color.
Vacker gitarr! - Vacker melodi! - den har "Gisle-lyd" lycka till med den!, Levi i Sverige
Tusen takk Levi! Det setter jeg stor pris på å høre 🙏🏼☺️ Håper alt står bra til med deg!
This is also my dream guitar…
You won't regret :)
This Guitar is Perfect ! But surely it is very expensive and I cannot Afford it
It is pretty expensive ... But the craftsmanship is so good. You can come pretty close with the cheaper models as well.
I own a Special 22 my only complain is the bridge PU is too bright for me... do you feel the same way too?
Not at all, actually I never have to turn down the tone knob on this one. What PU is it?
@@GisleTorvikOfficial its the 58/15 LT TCI prolly just my guitar... i broke the Volume pot on mine was trying to do the 50s wiring, i did replace it with PRS Volume pot thats prolly why the bridge PU so bright now...
You can always try to turn your tone knob down, or lower the pickup, or even flip the pickup to change the magnet position…
I haven't found that to be the case with mine
Did you change the volume pot to a different resistance?
OH MAN! If a guitar a bought came with that number I for sure will send it back, and wouldn’t accept it for free either , I’m way superstitious 😮
Never thought of it like this.... But I do now 😱😅
special 22 is the best...
