Easily one or their best songs. And definitely one of my favorite AC/DC riffs. This album is seriously underrated. So is Let There Be Rock for that matter, and that might be my favorite album of theirs. Growing up I never even heard of Bon - the only AC/DC I knew in the mid-80s was the Brian version. Very different band and dynamic, IMO. I had to discover the old stuff on my own. I've heard his name mentioned a bit more recently, so I hope his legend grows and he's finally acknowledged and remembered as the greatest rock frontman of all time (because he was), and one of the cleverest songwriters too, IMO.
I love when Malcolm and the rest of the band come in. That almost-clean Gretsch tone adds such a punch to everything. It gives the riff an almost country/rockabilly vibe.
@rocknroll1973 Bon was the leader of AC/DC! He crafted the template of the band after his own personality. Bon was the band's songwriter. With his funny, clever lyrics. and his outstanding vocal melodies, he turned Malcolm's recycled, 3-chord, chord progressions into rock n' roll masterpieces! After his death, Brian, Angus, Malcolm, and the rest knew a great thing, and they continued to follow the template that Bon gave them for the next 40+ years. Bon's lyrics and song titles are legendary!! Who else would have come up with those stories behind his songs? I'm talking about Whole Lotta Rosie! She's got the Jack! How about Love Hungry Man? Girls Got Rhythm (the Backseat Rhythm)! Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap! Let There Be Rock! Hell ain't a bad place to be! TNT! Sin City! and Beating Around The Bush! Bon's titles, words, humor, and personality defined the band. Bon was the one that was REAL. He was the person that he wrote about in his songs!! The Love Hungry Man! Public Enemy #1! TNT! The Problem Child who was on The Highway To Hell! On the other hand, Malcolm just wrote the chord progressions and some of their simple riffs, while Bon crafted them into rock n' roll anthems ... f*ckin masterpieces. For the longest while, Malcolm only knew 5 or 6 chords (E,A,G,D, & C)! But that's cool, he managed to come up with some good rhythms for his simple progressions and that is his legacy. He knew how to make the best out of his very limited knowledge of music. The sad thing is, after Bon's death, Brian, Angus and Malcolm stole song ideas (and maybe songs) from Bon's notebook especially for Back In Black. Sadly they gave Bon no credit because they tried to hide the fact that he was THE ONE WHO MADE THE BAND ! Bon was the one who wrote the songs. Angus played the killer solos. Malcolm chose which of the 3 chords they would play! Sad to say, by 2012, Malcolm couldn't even remember 3 chords, the poor bastard!
@rocknroll1973 I'll give you this, I do believe Malcolm was the leader early on although one could argue that George and Harry were boss when it came to the studio. Malcolm even played lead guitar in those days. However, Malcolm began to lose power quickly. As Angus got older and more experienced, he started to gain more power (especially after he started wearing that schoolboy uniform). Of course, I know Bon wasn't their first singer. However, AC/DC was not complete with Dave Evans as vocalist. The band knew it. Enter Bon, with his powerful stage presence and bad-boy attitude. With his wit and mastery of English slang, he wrote clever rock anthems that perfectly matched the Young Bros. energy. Bon was the missing ingredient!!! He made the band complete! Once Malcolm turned over the lyric writing to Bon, there would be no more songs with cheesy lyrics like "Can I Sit Next To You, Girl". (That song was proof that Malcolm sucked at writing lyrics.) With the addition of Bon, a top-notch performer and lyricist, the band's future was transformed from being "The Junior Easybeats" to a band that would soon be an international success. Of course, George and Harry were B-list producers and the water was now over-their-heads. The band deserved better. Thus, when Mutt Lange came on-board and helped the band deliver their 2 masterpieces, "Highway to Hell" and "Back In Black", AC/DC became international superstars. I do have to give the band credit for being successful without Bon. Many bands would have panicked. But let's not forget that in a strange twist of fate, Bon continued to help his band from beyond the grave. Bon more or less picked Brian as his replacement. Today, AC/DC soldiers on without Malcolm. They continue to make music and sell tickets. This time, in typical AC/DC fashion, they decided to keep it in the Young family by choosing nephew Stevie as Malcolm's replacement. It worked for Lynyrd Skynyrd! It works for AC/DC!

@@markengel6570 I definitely agree with you! Bon was the master of that dirty blues vocal style. After hearing "Highway to Hell" LP way back in '79, I remember my friends and I were so psyched for their next album. One can't deny that Mutt Lange deserves a lot of the credit. He took 2 outstanding bands, AC/DC and Def Leppard, expanded greatly upon their sound, and made them appeal to the masses. "Highway to Hell" paved the way and set the expectations for what was to follow. Plus, Bon's death got them a lot of publicity. In many ways, "Back in Black" was nothing more than "Highway to Hell part 2", only with a different singer. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not knocking AC/DC. They did what many bands fail to do: Follow a truly great album with another truly great album! I give the band a whole lot of credit for soldiering on after such an impactful loss (Bon's death). Not many bands could have done that.

@@markengel6570 I was hooked the first time I heard TNT on the radio. I was in 8th grade. A few months later I was in a record store and saw they had just released a brand new album, "Let There Be Rock", and I bought it, loved it. Like you, I soon bought High Voltage and then Power Age and If You Want Blood". "Let There be Rock" is my 2nd favorite AC/DC album, but Highway is my favorite! Back in black had some great music, but without Bon it was a let down. "Dirty Deeds" was a nice surprise since it wasn't released in the USA until after Back In Black. I was a senior in high school at that point, and it was like Bon is back! I do regret the fact that I never got to see them live when Bon was in the band although I have seen them a few times since then. Bon was the best!
I love listening to Rudd's rhythm ⚡
Well said. I don't care what they say. Phil is a good drummer. Simple , yet effective
@@uberdavez yeah man. He did an amazing. It is a pity that he has problems with the law.
I would rather have him still be alive then meeting him, not that I don’t
Yeah man, Phil Rudd is their secret weapon.
Acdc's drummer for eternity
this is the best rock n roll song of all time
The riff reminds me of a British rock classic. But I've forgotten the song. Oh well, never mind
I see what you did there
But this is better, because it's ac/dc.
th-cam.com/video/Z-C6p-GwHfA/w-d-xo.html 😉👍
Definitely hear the "Oh Well" by Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green) influence in this song wow
I missed hearing heaven into my ears 👏👏👏👏👏
AC⚡DC ROCKS🎸
Jesus.....your beautiful.
@@kenlagasse2155 Dude that person says he/she/they love JCap go and search on Google "Jessica Capshaw" that person just loves her so much that he/she/they put her picture for profile pic and username...that person ain't a faker either
When don new berry told you something it happened and I am much the same so you want blood
That ending... fucking crazy, just pure hard rock
Another example of AC/DC's blues roots.
This was Bon's AccaDacca at its pinnacle, the album is a masterpiece
One of my absolute favorite Bon Scott tunes!😎🤘🎶
Probably one of if not their best riff. Love it
Bon Scott was fantastic to express his feelings :-)
Best song on the album, pure raw energy 🔥💥⚡
great tune... was exactly the right age when this came out! 12
After going through fucking hell during 2021, this album would have helped me with my depression. It would have helped me a whole lot. Thank you AC/DC and See you don't he other side Bon Scott
My fav song of them. Period. Bon scott that its finest, Angus and Malcolm too
The most underrated song in their entire catalog.
@EmmaleeBaker-k3f tell me about it
AC/DC is the brightest group of their generation . Best rock !!!;)
I’ve been listening to this song for 40 years and only realised just now from seeing a cover on Facebook that it is heavily influenced by ‘Oh Well’ by Fleetwood Mac!
Mind blown!
What an incredibly exciting Rock n Roll song this is !
Loved this main riff since I was 11
I’m 55 Now. Legendary.
What a riff🔥
So original. One of their very best imo.
Man I wish I grew up in the 70s music was at its best
Me to man
I did. 🤙
It was a great time! So much awesome music! And something so trivial as going to the record store and rifling through your bands records to see if a new album was out and finding that new release was so very exciting for a teenager.
All I can say is I’m glad I was raised on old school rock AC/DC has been my favourite band for a very long time and I don’t see it changing
I wish i did too. Listen to this shit man. Just raw.
That riff is fire, one of their best 🔥🔥🔥🤘🎸
Criminally underrated song ! Their fastest anyway !
Дякую ❤❤❤ давно вже не відчувала такий заряд бадьорості духу❤❤❤
Long live Bon Scott🤘🏻🤘🏻
Yes, he was the only true singer...
@@BAK-zl5yn I like Brian Johnson but I love Bon Scott
@@munniharppukostaja4702 me too, but bon scott was my favorite ever👍
The best front man to the band ⚡
@Javier Guzman the shuffur ⚡
Old school AC/DC!!!! Everything they did was musical magic!!!!
I love how they're "beating round the bush" with this teaser! 👍
Man . What does this song mean?
The guitar riffs these guys came up with are 2nd to none… and there are so many… If I only had AC/DC to listen to the rest of my life I would be a happy man
They didn’t come up with it , go listen to Peter greens Fleetwood mac - Oh well
this is AC/DC
One of the best songs they ever recorded
They're back on the scene after the death of two very important people in the band, 46 years of rock and they still have the ability to impress people with their favorite thing to do: rock!
Only Mal could wright this riff. Just listen to this song..It's quite complex really. Remembering this is written in the 70's. Always blows my mind.
AC/DC FOREVER!
Slow the song down to .5 speed. Makes the song super heavy!
And makes Bon sound super drunk XD
Great song. The main riff is played with a great great great groove!!
I'll never understand why songs like this, Walk all over you and Touch too much have never been played regularly live
ШЭДЭВРЪ
Man! This whole FFFFFF**k'n album. A banger.
It’s impossible to not headbang to this
Good old rock and roll...i wished i was living in those Era !!! Bon voice is incredible; young brothers \m/
I wish I met Bon Scott. The best singer i have ever listened.
That is one bad ass song, I growed up with this song
Todas las canciones de AC. DC. No tienen pega alguna. Son todas buenísimas. El mejor grupo de rock de la historia.
Best scream in rock ever..the line "I'm gonna give ya one more chance"
That little lick at 3:10 is FILTHY. Makes my face scrunch up everytime. Angus really did have the devil in his fingers, and the blues in his soul!
My face has been scrunched up since I first heard TNT in the early 70's! Love ya work buddy, love ya love.
Their best album.
AC/DC is like a piston which beats in my heart ⚡
I had the phrase 'beating around the bush' in my English test, lol. This song helped a lot, thanks
Best song of this amazing record
