Use to peddle my push iron up there back in the 60's. Took my daughters up there in a rental car a few years back, we called in "The Roman road", good times, Good video.
I laughed all the way through this, thank you! If I hadn't watched your videos on the 1250s I might have thought you were... well let's not go there!! It's a great little bike, and very creative of you to think of taking it up that shake-a-Kate river!
"keeps Greta happy" - hilarious. I test rode a zero motorcycle and it was a lot of fun but pricey. p.s. I was a 51 year old CBT rider, now a 52 year old full licence holder and bought an Iron 883. Great channel
Great video Kate, cool looking bike, the security features are excellent, locking the wheels, makes it more hassle than it’s worth, simple but effective. Glad you were ok after your spill.👍🏻
So nice to see an electric bike at a sensible price/range/performance point. 🤔 Commuters could really benefit swapping their cars for one of these, or at least taking the electric bike to work most days and saving the car for bad weather and transporting lots of groceries etc. 👍
What an adventure that was Kate. Really enjoyed that. It shocked me when you came off, I'm so glad you didn't hurt yourself . That was proper off roading. 👌 you're a trooper 🙂😉. You got skills lady.🙂
Kate, thanks for roughing out the review in such weather. Too funny you warn of being alone with your thoughts on this ride. Good insight. I am following these new breeds with hopes on the BMW 100 project. Keep doing you Kate, it’s Authentic and straight up. Thanks 🇨🇦🏍
Good effort Kate, not sure I would have the kahoonas for that green lane on that bike with those tyres. The perfect machine for commuting. Great content. 👍
Showing some major off road skills there Kate 👌 What a fun little bike....I've been riding motorcycles since I was 6 years old and I'm currently in my 50's and I can honestly say that I would consider buying that as a cheap little run around. Another great video again Kate....glad you're OK after the get off......we've all been there. 🤣
@@UsernameKate I was thinking exactly the same thing lol username Kate panting in my ears. I had headphones on so as not to disturb the wife’s TV time. LOL Keep them coming Kate! 👍
Sunra should be chuffed by your tumble. Invaluable proof of the robustness of their bike (and the “bounce-ability” of their tester!). Great review. Thanks.
They're giving a range of 84 miles which isn't bad. That's a decent afternoon ride although EV makers are a bit naughty because when quoting these figures they don't tell you that they're based on urban mileage which is where they do best. Out on the open road you can virtually halve that figure, meaning that on this bike, you need to start looking for a charge after about 35 miles. Fine for most commuters which is clearly where this bike is targeted. Perhaps you could do a real world range test on a mixture of urban and open roads while you've got it
Three things here. 1st. You have put me to shame today, I went out on gsa but it was a bit chilly and windy so came back home 😃 2nd. This reminds me of the baron van grumble dropping his gsxr grean laning. 3rd. Also reminds me of itchy boots up a mountain on stupid roads. 😅 sweet vlog. Thankyou
Hi Kate, Good to see you were OK after a little off! That road should be...well I don't know but I use the term "Road" loosley! You've inspired me to do the NC500 (871 miles from where I live BTW!) for which I've bought an perfectly aged Pan European. What mount do you use for the gopro for your Shoei lid? The front vent gets in the way for me. Billy von Bimble x
Hahaha, well done for having a go at that lane, especially on a small wheel scoot in such soggy conditions! 😄 It doesn't look too bad either, very Grom like. Glad to see it crashes well, always an advantage on bikes designed for those newer to biking.
Takes me back to my teenage years of pedalling up them crappy roads. After 10 years of living in Western Australia, I don't miss the crappy weather but miss the view.
Great video as always Kate. I was on that bumpy road on Sunday 31st of October on my Monkey bike with a giant Skull on the back. I carried on past the Pigeon Tower (nice little hill there) and bore Right, through to the Road that goes over the tops to Belmont. It was a fantastic Day in the heavy rain, like riding on a river bed, the water was splashing over my head at one point. A lad (Thai) came with us on a Suzuki 650, (a very brave man). Keep up the good work Kate. Cheers Dean (Monkey Dix Adventures)
Hi Kate, this was a great and a fun review. Nice to be able to creep pass horses on the road. Was that pothole lane you were bouncing down! Then you were caught out by an impact crater, and thankfully you were unharmed and the bike virtually unscathed. You picked it up easily, and it appeared to be undamaged. A great commuter bike.💗
Loved this, some lol moments on the cobbled/rough sections. Always great commentary and I'm definitely using 'tight as cramp.' Surely one of thee toughest tests this bike has been through. On a side note, I'd love to know how old some of those cobbled lanes/roads are. Great scenery.
I was just about to watch Kate reviewing something that looks like a toy, small electric bike, and then I've read your comment mentioning Itchy boots 😂 🤔 Good job Kate 👍
