I love when they say "if it doesn't sell I'll just drive it." Like, are you threatening us? Are you saying it's unsafe? It's a logical assumption that you're driving it while you own it.
It’s them trying to show how they won’t be “scammed” and to keep people away who want to haggle. Like hey if I don’t get what I want I’ll just keep it.
an ex Alaska state trooper once told me ''if i saw an s10 blazer with more than 1 passenger, id pull it over, seems like the people driving them are generally up to no good'' i didnt realize how true that statement was until i started driving a tow truck .
Those rubber bungee cords we use em at my work. They actually good for holding parts in place. Like if you were in a wash bay and there’s grates below and the parts are hanging on a rack. They’re very good. Just holds them keeps them in place so you can pressure wash them we use chemicals n stuff so they good for that. Last longer than regular bungees. Other than that. They kinda ass for bungee cord applications.

@@jaythemusicman801 they have more clamping force, the ones most people buy are stranded elastic... that for most applications are fine, but if you need the durability, they are far to easy to break. reason why the black rubber ones exist.
Dude, $1200 for that Lebaron monstrosity with a really sh!tty river exhaust would totally be worth it to take to really high end car shows and piss off rich folks
Idk man, both my project cars were totaled recently. I bought one for $2500 and the other for $1400. My insurance is buying the first one for $7k, and I'm getting the second one appraised by the other involved party's insurance + medical. Not saying they were the greatest of cars but, I sure did flip them (metaphorically).
7:17 I’ve seen them used to lash unused load bars down between the e-track strips in 53’ trailers. Actually works great, some truck drivers are really ingenious. Most of them are regarded tho.
we used to have a ton of those bungees at work (because they never sold lmao) and they were great for holding exhaust tubing and hydraulic hose in place. The hoses would sometimes unravel into a walking area or the pipes could be at risk at falling on someone since they'd be 3-6" diameters and up to 10" long. Other than that, they're good for selling normal bungee cords instead.
I think using plywood as a "firewall" may have the opposite effect that it's meant for. Well, unless you're seeking a wall of fire to try and look like some sort of boomer bad ass...
6:45 those "black stretchy things" with the hocks are for securing trailer loads on the sides and gates. That is the main reason people by them. They have a box trailer, they need to hold the rear gate on or some roof netting on top. They have a flatbed, they want to tie down some cargo netting. They're way cheaper then ratchet straps (and serve a different purpose) and they last way longer then bungie cords.
So Net not strong enough to stretch the black rubber bungees. They are the best unless you use them as a permanent solution that gets left in the weather
You don’t want a really stretchy bungee chord if you’re trying to keep a trunk closed. Otherwise every time you go over a bump your trunk will open. Ask me how I know… I tried using a bungee chord to keep my trunk down over my bicycle to drive a short distance. Listening to my trunk bang against my bike frame was painful lol
I remember ordering a shit ton of catalogs from import tuner and car and driver. I had a black catalog that i think was from some bodykit wholesaler. I remember cavaliers took up a solid 3 or 4 pages.

I am buying a $500 celica off FB marketplace on sunday that needs a new battery and a new fuel pump and nothing you say will stop me. If it won't run after that then I will just give up...
Bro, why yall talking shit about rubber bungee cords? The fabric ones are ass, netgear has noodle arms go lift bro, cant even stretch a bungee cord like a real man
My 2 cents of being very conservative and optimistic about the supposed good faith of the sellers! Savanna FC blue. Same shit build you see from most japanese owners as well. Seriously? Good color but shit wheels and interior and engine tune. If... the car still running after that... US$ 5000 at best Mustang Fox hatch 93. Actually, stands safe from all american trash. the really convincing ones are the ones that dnt run but have 20inch rims on them, "bring your own wheels" XD
