Thanks, man. I just ordered some. I'm lucky I haven't set anything on fire with the "safety" kind. There are probably a lot of burn victims who were just refilling their mower and had that back splash hit the hot exhaust.

I've been putting vents on plastic gas containers for years using tire stems without the tire valve inside. There's a tool you can buy that pulls the stem from the opening of the gas can (where the nozzle fits ) to the hole you make for the tire stem with the progressive drill bit like you used for your video. This was back before the mandated government filler nozzles that are not user friendly. I am glad somebody manufactures a way to "cheat" the new fill nozzles that are totally worthless in every way. Thanks for making the video. I plan to order several of the EZ-Pour kits just to get the fill nozzle to replace the ones that "suck".

The government's motto is, "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is".

Don't put the vent directly on the seam, put it off to the side.

I think the metal eagle or justrite cans are the best. The threading of the nozzle gland nut of plastic cans always seems to want to cross thread or leak especially in the winter.
